What has that got to do with what you said about the reception? We don’t know that what you’ve said is accurate either. Russian tennis players without any kind of dual nationality or citizenship elsewhere have been allowed to compete as individuals, except Wimbledon last year. But things may have changed? I bet they play Wimbledon this year! I suggest you have a read of this

Sounds like good news, they were allowed to compete in Arhletics but not under the Russian flag. Maybe I am wrong and he won't get any unwarranted flak from away fans.

Great signing for Ippo and all true speedway fans in our leagues. Can't wait to see Doyle and Emil against Dan and Brady in heat's 13 and 15.

I think Brady may be at the back!

Brady is no slouch later in meeting when the dirts drifted. He can beat anyone at belle Vue

23rd March vs Peterborough... I'll be there that's for sure... Might need to open the full backstraight...

Always loved Emil, he's such a brilliant rider and an all round nice guy, I really am so excited to see him in the uk... I guess I'm an honorary Ipswich fan this year then?

Well done Chris Louis, you deserve a medal...

And for those who are slating Emil for being Russian, get over yourselves...

I don't think anyone is slating him, love to see him ride, a big boost for British Speedway. I expect even Scotty Nicholls would enjoy seeing him ride over here.

Get your popcorn out - it could get rather interesting ......a real WOW REALLY moment

(Disclaimer - Always remember there is the chance it could turn out like an indoor firework - great anticipation but in the end you're left with something resembling a turd :D)

Turd disaster averted :D

I wouldn't complain about Nationalities and stuff

Under normal circumstances we wouldn't have had riders like Emil over here, So everyone who supports British Speedway should be excited and happy with this signing.

We've all complained how weak the league has been over the past few years, 2023 is going to be the strongest league we've had in years which is only a good thing that will raise the profile of British Speedway again.

I think everyone should forget about politics and just enjoy / savour every memory provided by an Elite level rider on track in 2023 because like us at Peterborough regarding Nicki, The chances of seeing Emil ride for your own team or riding in Britain period after this season would be very thin imo.

Well done to Chris Louis who's worked tirelessly all winter, Must have been draining but he's got his man and nobody can doubt his commitment and determination for success.
