Road racers have opps for arm pump all the time,,, maybe Danyon needs help with the financial side with that. Recovery time is quick as well

Danyon only suffers with it at Foxhall,  he was telling us on Thursday. Also spoke to Erik as he was in attendance,  apparently his doctors hope this time all should be good but tbh he didn't seem convinced ,  but he'll be in attendance at televised meeting Monday week so hopefully he will be more positive and we'll know how long before he's back. Apparently flying doesn't affect whatever caused the pressure in the first instance.

If Barker doesn't work out and Riss isn't able to recover quickly, is Knudsen a possibility from Berwick? Average is around 6 (not official yet) but he has had a few good results in the BSN series. I'm guessing CL wouldn't know who he is anyways!

Only at Foxhall is a strange one,,, he must have to hold on tighter for some reason

I think that would make Ipswich far weaker, Knudsen is averaging about 2 points less than Barker in the Champ!

Interesting interview with Chris Louis on Radio Suffolk just now… he didn’t rule out team changes, so I guess time will tell…

Something will be tried. Hamstrung a bit because of averages and options so whether we end up better off remains to be seen, but I’m pretty confident something will be attempted. Tungate wasn’t exactly a roaring success when he came in late last year, but he had his moments and his average isn’t too prohibitive. Wonder whether we’ll delay his move to Peterborough whilst we weigh up our own options..

Can’t see Tungate being the answer, I’m kind of hoping worrall will be out at pboro and we can draft him in for barker if Erik isn’t fit by the end of the 28 days, Joe needs upgrading at 7 and unlikely but we need an upgrade on king. Difficulty with that is it’ll mean looking to the continent and I’m not sure if the right riders are keen to come or if they are keen/willing affordable - average wise either pawlicki could come in as a straight swap for king i believe as an example but would probably be far too expensive

It's become sadly a couple of bad weeks and last Thursday for me was a huge wake up call.

Didn't expect much last night if I'm honest, but its clear changes need ro be made.

I know it splits opinion amongst us Witches fans, and I'm not saying I'm right, but I said b4 any names were in for this season that I didn't want Batchelor and King.

Although I got my wish on one of them, I standby that I didn't want King, and I think he is 1 of the changes that has to happen.

People will say who do you bring in, I seriously don't know, names are flying about, but King for me has to go. I didn't agree with Barker coming back, but I accepted it, and I feel when his 28 days are up, he won't be retained either.

On the R/S, I'd change it, Joe is just not up to this level, again he is young and learning, but we all know the Jack Thomas crash cost us big style and Joe was a late call that had to be made, but he's struggling, Drew Kemp is vlearly somebody Louis doesn't want as is Anders Rowe, but the boy Bailey seems a possibility.

But whatever happens I will be there Monday supporting the boys, but changes surely have to be made and quickly b4 Play Offs become a distant dream.

Riss is a big miss and if he isn't able to come back then some chnages do need to be made, oddly the RS worked last night at BV - the reason he was clearly up against a similar level of rider, but at Foxhall on Thursday Zac cook admittedly not a RS was miles ahead of everyone even half the Witches team!

I like both Danny and Barker as I feel they try Barker is largely scoring what you would expect - But Danny has endured a bad last 2 weeks or so - shame as he had started the season well I feel. Last night was evidence that if Doyle and Emil have an off night or dont get say 12+ and able to fully dominate then the Witches struggle.

The one who generally impressed me when he came in was Aaron Summers he scored well  - shame he has retired!

I totally agree with you on Erik, no complaints from me there.

I don't think Barker will be retained after 28 days and although I don't think Louis and Hawkins will remove King, I just feel as a loyal witch whose at home watching every week, King needs to go, but its other options and points I suppose that will make that decision.

Would I take Tungate instead of King ....Yes I would, think he would be more consistent Home and Away, will it happen....No

As for R/S, just think it needs changing, its not Joe's fault and he's trying hard, but we had to make a quick decision after Jack Thomas's crash, and it hasn't worked.

I think you maybe right there - and I agree the RS needs changing as more points are needed - as for King id give in a bit longer not hugely convinced of the options available - Batch maybe Tungate - both would divide opinion and when at his best Kings better than both.

The warning signs were lingering on Night one even with a full team imo, I remember saying that I wasn't impressed with how Ipswich struggled to beat the 6 man Panthers side and it looks even worse now knowing how poor my Panthers side has turned out this season.

Chris Louis will have to make some unpopular decisions in order for Ipswich to make the play-offs imo, 3 changes needed imo. Hume and JT have to be two of them although Danyon can find himself unlucky but he's just not cut out for the No.6 role away from Home, Ipswich simply can't afford to give team an advantage at reserve when they've got a weak engine room attempting to back up Doyle/Emil, Ipswich are consistently relying on Emil/Doyle taking 11 rides a meeting now (Inc. Tac sub) which tells you everything you need to know.

Final change has to be Rew imo, Got to be realistic here and know that King isn't going anywhere unless he wants out like Kerr at KL so it's a case of Barker or Rew and the former is better around Foxhall while the latter is pretty poor around his home circuit, Take out the Panthers Home meeting and Rew has only taken one paid heat win in 5 meetings at Home.

The Problem King has is he’s been synonymous with failure. No title since 98 and since then it’s been years of failure, and Danny King has been the one mainstay in all of those failures. It’s harsh because individually he hasn’t done an awful lot wrong, in a lot of those years he’s actually done very well. But, those that attend Foxhall regularly will tell you that the groans about King have grown noticeably louder the last couple of years on the terraces every time he’s having a bad ride or meeting. There just seems to be a tiredness about it all and fresh change is sometimes needed for both club and rider. Look how stale things got for Lewi Kerr at Lynn, but a move to Sheffield seemed to give him a new spring in his step.

Rew was always gonna take time to find his feet and even more so being in the one to 5 rather than at reserve to start with but that's the way the team had to run once they had Doyle/Emil in the team, dunno what the answer is regarding King tho, has been poor the last 2 or 3 meetings and didn't actually score that well for Redcar either in their meeting at Scunthorpe last wk and seemed slow going by the meeting report, the R/S position is another big issue to sort out but i don't believe the young lads should ride in to top league till their at a certain level in the Premier league, you want the lads to push on but they should ride at R/S in premier league only till they find their feet.
