Ipswich 2023

As it stands you have Richie Worrall and Hume.

Red tape holding up any move for Sayfutdinov but they want him

Absolutely not a chance in hell those two are the final Ipswich riders. No Sayfutdinov is totally plausible, but he’s not leaving the team over 3 points under the limit.

Ipswich could be a dark horse in 2023 if Chris Louis wants to be ruthless for a change by swapping Hume out for Batchelor or an engine room foreigner with UK experience assuming Worrall signs.

As I've said on the Panthers thread, Richie Worrall is a shrewd signing for anyone especially for a club who's got a technical Home track considering the gating ability of Richie.

Rew would also likely spend the season at reserve and it'll allow him to develop like Blodorn did throughout the season rather than being thrown into the deep end after the first set of GSA's.

You could be shrewd as well,,, by replacing Cook,,, I've never understood a so called sport putting out understrength teams by choice.,,,thats not sport.,,, that's taking part.

I wouldn't replace him tbh because he's improving all the time and the Showground will suit him down to the ground, I think he's going to be a good signing tbh.

I would swap Andersen out though for Batchelor or Worrall (If one of them was available) as I think Hans is the only weak link in the side and he could struggle for a large part of the season.

That’s a fair reflection of the rider’s abilities across the season no?

No because  Cook rode in 37 matches, and the 19 you've chosen to rely on are heavily skewed to the start of the season.

Hume is the fall back option they want a heat leader obviously

Hume on a 3 point average is a fall back option to a heatleader? That makes no sense. If Worrall has done a u turn and signed for Ipswich as you suggest, then Hume is completely out of the picture. I’m sorry but they’re not leaving the side over 3 points under. I’d suggest Batchelor if anything would get a call if Worrall ends up at Foxhall.

He didn't go too bad at the Flux Arena the first and only time he'd even seen the place!!

8+3 riding at 2.

You’re another being selective and hand picking results to suit your argument. His away average IS pretty poor compared to his home average isn’t it? Most riders have a better home average than away that’s a given, but the difference isn’t normally as stark as Cook’s. That’s definitely something he needs to improve and work on.

I can see it being Worral and Batchelor if plan A don't pan out, that is if plan A is Emil or another GP rider plus Hume.

Peterborough fans seem more concerned than the witches fans do.
if plan A or B doesn’t come off there is always zagar who might be tempted.

I agree - whether it's plan A B C or D it won't be a make do set up
