Baldyman
Rew certainly looks like a wind it on round the outside type rider,,, so he will be fun to watch.

What at Foxhole ? Didnt know Foxhole had an "outside" ?? He'll be in the burger van on the first bend. Hope the lad's injuries aren't as serious as first feared. Baldyman
A Polish report by Lezno says they are small cracks not fractures,, and after 2 month's rehabilitation,, they expect him to be ready to race at start of season
JoeW436
Do you think a few emails went out from Polish clubs this morning over to the fellas in Australia? Hopefully Keynan recovers to full health, was looking forward to seeing him ride here next year
Roger Jacobs
5 hours ago, Wee Eck said: As I said, he didn’t hit the fence. Anyway, it’s up to MA to sign off the track and up to the riders to decide whether or not to compete. Unlike UK, or indeed Poland, at the riders’ briefing in Australia, the referee reads out a standard statement which includes offering any rider who feels uncomfortable about racing on the track the chance to withdraw without any penalty or sanction being imposed. And, despite all the comments on here, Rew’s injuries do not need surgery You're absolutely splitting hairs by saying that Rew didn't hit the fence. The kickboards are part of the fence/barrier/banana whatever word you use to describe it. He quite clearly hit a solid part of the fence with a hard thud, and bounced back - that would have caused compression injuries, and he's incredibly fortunate to not have more than cracks or minor breaks.

old bob at herne bay
As the closest PL club track to me in Herne Bay suppose I should take more interest in Ippo . IF ever I could be bovvered guess its my obvious place to visit. Sadly the racing at Foxhall has never inspired me in my 40+ years of following speedway, and the team line ups in recent years always seem to have a same old, same old, stale look about them. 2023 looks like the same. Back comes Danny King, Rohan Tungate, again. Must be cheap deals. Always pleading poverty to be able to build a top side like the Belle Vue Aces, yet pin a large part of their allegedly small budget on THE top number 1 in the league. Never been a fan of Chris Louis as speedway promoter, but in his day a superb Speedway Rider. Seem to be a club " just happy to be taking part " without ever really threatening to win much . Tungate isn’t back. And apart from the save our speedway campaign 27 years ago haven’t pleaded poverty. the club is run as a proper business and not a play thing or a tax loss who knows what Doyle earns and it isn’t our business to know either. While foxhall isn’t a Belle vue track for passing it’s our track. Lakeside Rye house Eastbourne stoke Newcastle Coventry and many others would love to have a local track. I’m certainly grateful for my team and track.

Let's be honest, your numerous negative comments about speedway means you won't be going to any meetings. You are one sad person, & would be better not posting on a site where the majority of forum users are proper speedway fans. 3
Baldyman
As above Tungate isn't back,, and he certainly isn't cheap,,,, having said that,,,I'm not to sure what many riders get these days,,,so maybe he is cheaper than some,,, but his pay per point sounds not very cheap to me,,, but nor is the outlay of a speedway rider,,, so they have to recoup their outlay some how. He's nothing special. I might be miles off, but at a complete guess £150- £175 a point? Much more more than that i would class as dear. Or am i too tight Edited December 19, 2022 by Bald Bloke
