More "sports entertainment" than a bone fide sporting contest.. However. In Poland, it is very much "winning matters" as financially there are big rewards, and tonights result will be lead news in the national written and TV news coverage this evening and tomorrow... We might want to be "entertained" but Lublin and Wroclaw fans only want to see their team win.. And if they get entertained too, then that is a bonus.. Steve Shovlar Posted October 8, 2024 Report Share Posted October 8, 2024 Just caught up with this meeting this morning and as expected an awful meeting. The season was decided before a wheel was turned and the final was completely predictable. While sides are built so lop sided in Poland you can see who is going to win straight away. Utterly boring. While it could be applauded that no guests are used, once injuries occur, it’s the end of that sides season. Gusts etc is just not going to cut it.
