What a one-sided beatdown.

Say what you want about British Speedway but we don't get these one-sided matches in the play-offs.

I agree...

They should have let Torun cherry pick riders from other teams to keep things close......:D

Averages is a no but there has to be some sort of restriction on teams next year to stop teams being put together like Lublin, I thought about only 2 GP riders per team ?

They did that a few years ago.

You had riders turning down spots in the GP series, just so they could earn mega bucks in Poland.

Still ways around it.  Pryzemski will go back to Bydgoszcz if they come up and will be a loss.

  • racers and royals changed the title to Polish Extraleague play-off SF 2nd leg Friday 20th September Live on TV

Let's hope Bydgoszcz get promoted then, else Lublin will walk the league again.  To back up what I said earlier about the bottom 3 being where Lublin are miles in front of the other teams... The Torun top 3 are stronger average wise than the 3 Lublin heat leaders... but the bottom 3 of Lublin are in a different stratosphere to their Torun counterparts

Lublin.

Zmarzlik 2,420
Kubera 2,074
Holder 1,960

Przyjemski 2,089
Cierniak 1,694
Banbor 1,019

Torun.
Lambert 2,269
Sayfutdinov 2,269
Dudek 2,088

Lampart 1,115
Lewandowski 1,000
Kawczynski 0.576

Lindgren will also be miles clear of Przepelski also.

Not comparing like with like - Torun couldn't replace Przepelski with Lindgren.  Suspect Przepelski will be dropping to Ekstaliga 2 next season, be a big(gish) fish in a small pond.

Is Janusz Kołodziej staying with Leszno following their relegation?

Przedpelski is joining Rzeszow and Kolodziej is staying at Leszno

Assuming Dudek is staying with Torun who is their second senior Pole next year?

Who is replacing Woffinden at Wroclaw? Woffinden replacing who at Zielona Góra.  Hampel?

Am I the only who thinks the quality of Polish speedway has declined massively?

I remember the days when Tarnow had Hancock, Koldoziej, Vaculik and Madsen.

Torun used to have Sullivan, Ward, Holder and Miedzinski.

Zielona Gora used to have AJ, Pepe P, Dudek and Holta

Each team used to have 4 world class riders.

The one thing British speedway does better than Poland is having a points limit. You get much more equal sides, its not all about who has the most money to spend. I would put my house on Lublin and Wroclaw being in the playoffs next year, I wouldn't say that about any premiership side.

 Bold statement but...

Ipswich, Belle Vue & Sheffield will.

Kings Lynn & Birmingham won't.

Take your pick Oxford or Leicester!

Every Polish team will make the playoffs except Grudziądz & whichever team is promoted.

Pounds matter just much as Zloty to riders.

I think its back down to 4 team play offs  next year.

Pounds clearly matter but not as much as Zloty because of the points limit.
