Got the an and b mixed up. Yes you’re right. But still. Ipswich kept it close. And probably would have done in the b fixtures if it hadn’t have been for Doyle’s bike troubles.

I fully expect a big ippo win today and a narrow belle Vue win Monday

Ioswich will do much better at the NSS this time, but the bike trouble by Doyle didn't have much effect on the b fixture would of still been a 20 point plus win..  I'm going 53-37 to Ipswich tonight and 48-42 to the Aces on Monday.  Fricke being out totally changes this match up.

Think Aces will win over the two legs even without Max Fricke, remember Jason Doyle can only ride a maximum of 5 heats in each leg! :D

I remember once against Cov when they let Crump score a full house but sat in behind and collected 3-3's...

When is say 'let' they probably didn't but he was too good, so the game plan was just not concede heat advantages in his races...

Same tonight for the Aces would work...

Danny King for me is always a catalyst for his teams come play off time...

He always seems to end seasons well as the tracks get a bit more gripper and damper...

Wouldn't surprise me to see him get a good double figure score tonight....

Why do you constantly keep doing this as if the Witches are some sh!te team that finished bottom? Despite on Eurosport Monday night with Stead, Tatum, and the other presenters claiming every 5 minutes that they had “won the league”, “finished top” etc etc, they’ve done no such thing! Now if Sheffield beat Ipswich in Ipswich’ last remaining fixture then they’ll have achieved that. But that’s not yet settled is it. You’re doing Ipswich a disservice, good side as the table suggests, (joint top on points), but the home advantage Belle Vue have will see them through to the final.

The point is, that Cook at Ipswich could be a very different rider. It's a track he knows and rides well - so a fired-up Cook can do an excellent job. Despite being a good team, they haven't dominated at home - a ten point win against BV was their biggest victory.  Also, the Witches don't have a recent record of being able to rise to the occasion - it will be terrific tonight if they can come out and perform collectively the way Poole did last night, which put me in mind of the great John Berry Witches from many years ago. I'll be hoping for a Witches victory as a minimum but, as you say, BV must be favourites to take the tie on aggregate.

The Witches are joint top on points, but have three "additional" league points, thanks to the Stupid Heat - an opportunity that Belle Vue have been denied because they haven't experienced the one result that apparently isn't good enough after 15 heats to call a result.

That will be a necessity for the Witches to build any sort of lead.

He certainly rode well last night and he said he thought his bike still had a slight misfire in heat 13, didn't seem to hinder him much!  I expect a lot of Glasgow fans will look with interest how Cook and Brennan go tonight. If either of them have a good night tonight they maybe a little bit miffed especially as Brennan is captain.
