You forgotten about Craig Cook, not saying it is him but he is an option.

Some friends and I were discussing the possibility of Cookie guesting. He has had  so many very ‘ordinary’ performances back at the NSS since leaving, though, I’m not sure whether we’d even be thinking about him had it not been for his British Final showing. He obviously was in the right mindset last Sunday and looked very good. I reckon ‘that Craig Cook’ would probably have the beating of all the Ipswich riders at the NSS other than Doyley. How would he go at Foxhall Heath though from the No.1 position? It may be a few seasons ago now, but would Cookie be ‘up’ for riding for the Aces if there is still any animosity remaining between him and Lemo?

Was talking about at Ipswich not at NSS, would have Klindt or Pickering at NSS.

Offer a couple of hundred pounds a point and plenty of takers I am sure..

Can the Aces swap the riding order and put the 2nd in the averages at No1 and put any guest or RR in another riding number?

No

I was of the mindset that I didn’t want Starke to return as he’s far too unreliable, but on that average you’d seriously have to consider him again at reserve. IF we retain Doyle, we’re gonna need a fair few on low looking averages. Tungate and Riss also look appealing to me on those figures. If our final meeting at Sheffield does get run, we need all 7 having an absolute stinker to help further. Mind you, Sheffield will be thinking the same so it could in theory be a keystone cops meeting and a bit of a farce!

Kemp may return with his low average as well ?

Possibly, although Louis said last winter that the idea was to loan him out for a couple of years not the one. Has to be some concern with the lack of progress as well. The thought was he needed a move from Ipswich as riding his home town track was putting too much pressure on him. If anything, he’s moved away and gotten worse!

We ain’t looking for paid 10 from him. But we’re looking at 6/7 points would do us. Anything more is a bonus

Anyone that has paid any attention to the league this year, will know full well the home advantage Belle Vue have. And to think people said that Belle Vue was such a “fair track” and that there was little to none home advantage. LOL. How many 60+ scores have you had at home Phil? And yet without looking at the stats, I’m guessing your away record is one of if not THE worst in the top 4?? That tells you everything you need to know about your home advantage. Keep in within 20 at Foxhall and you’ll still be favourites to progress.

He will be riding at Ipswich against the Witches ...

Why do you constantly keep doing this as if the Witches are some sh!te team that finished bottom? Despite on Eurosport Monday night with Stead, Tatum, and the other presenters claiming every 5 minutes that they had “won the league”, “finished top” etc etc, they’ve done no such thing! Now if Sheffield beat Ipswich in Ipswich’ last remaining fixture then they’ll have achieved that. But that’s not yet settled is it. You’re doing Ipswich a disservice, good side as the table suggests, (joint top on points), but the home advantage Belle Vue have will see them through to the final.
