Except riders returning to the team after injury who must re-take their position, dictated by their MA, with their replacement being released. Ah that would be a no then. So Bomber for home leg and Basso for away leg maybe.

I would say an 8.40 average is certainly a no1 in this league Er yes it is. Only one, Doyle, has an official average in excess of 8.41 at present. And looking at unofficial averages only Doyle has an average in excess of 8.30. Using either measure there are six riders with averages in excess of 8.00. SUPERACE
He started the season at 1 and is currently number 1, so that makes him a genuine number 1.

I know, I was responding to someone who suggested it should be a guest who rides in both legs if average fits etc

Rob B
Belle Vue could use Klindt or Pickering next Monday now.
arnieg
Can't see how either are eligible. 12.4.2 (e) no rider, whose team is in the play offs may appear as a guest in the play offs, in that league.

Don't forget that averages were also affected by the reduction in numbers of matches month-on-month. Even so, not every rider is suited to the #1 position - the rule that forces the top average to be #1 is unnecessary and pointless.
