At least be gracious in victory by admitting the truth about Ipswich's misfortune tonight. I still don't understand where misfortune contributed any significant difference to a comfortable home defeat? Edit: just saw your list of "reasons". Tungate fell under pressure, but I don't think Zagar was at fault (neither did Nicholls). King was awful, and failed completely twice on the third/fourth bend - that's not misfortune, that's poor riding. Summers *might* have done a bit better in Heat 8 - maybe the ref should have stopped the race and excluded Rowe - so no better than a 3-3. Heat 9 - no idea if the red lights came on or not - there didn't seem to be any protests. It was a strong performance by Belle Vue who learned quickly, and outfought, and outthought the Witches, winning heats 2 to 15 by a score of 29-49 ... cowboy cookie returns?
To be honest Ipswich looked 'up for it' in the first two heats. After Tungate fell in heat 3 it looked like they dropped back. With the exception of Doyle & Rowe they were a massive disappointment, although I'll cut summers some slack.

When success costs too much in the top tier and they drop to mid table and lower, their fans foxtrot oscar leaving them with no profit... Hence better to run in the lower tier and make some cash with the usual glory hunting success... Those days are long gone calling it the top tier, ward, holder, magic, woffinden that was the good days, probably about 5 riders that ride in the top league that don't ride in the championship.I was gutted when we dropped down, but i know which league i would rather be in, more variety, racing just as good
bigcatdiary
Doyle apart the Witches we’re well beaten with Tungate and Batchelor very disappointing. The racing wasn’t up too much (not that it ever is at Foxhall) and the commentary from Ermobollox was the usual drivel but the best team won in style.

We put up with Jason Doyle’s Ipswich team visiting three times while you get to enjoy four visits from Plymouth. The dreadful “racing” will be just the same no matter what division you’re in as at the end of the day it’s Poole. Gate ‘n’ go.
Badge
I truly hope that double ride round after the meeting was Doyley celebrating his maximum and not farewell
SUPERACE
The post from Robert Lambert on Twitter very interesting. Seems he had agreed to sign for the Aces to ride from Monday and the BSPA stopped him.

If the best riders want to rider here, brilliant but sign up at the start of the season and not when they just want a pay day. 8

Yeah like Poole &wolves did through tactical changes but you can't when a riders season is finished crap Louis was rubbish scared of us having Lambert well he got karma justice last night also max is double world champion GP winner so by those statistics he is a better rider than Lambert and a higher average

When he signs for us next season on a lower average than zagar along with Dan watch the crying start then
