So looking at the riders already signed, I reckon the next two riders available will be Kyle Howarth and Adam Ellis.

That should leave us around 4:88 for the 6th rider.

Sounding like Lewis Kerr won't be available, so possible targets who would fit the bill.

Paul Starke

Jake Allen

Stefan Nielsen

Ben Cook

Zach Cook

Kye Thomsen

Connor Mountain

Dimitri Berge

Ben Barker

Personally my choice would be Ben Cook or Dimitri Berge.

The Rising Star riders realistic possible targets

Connor Bailey (If Tom Brennan is given a Rising Star Place)

Jack Thomas

Drew Kemp

Jason Edwards

Dan Gilkes

Joe Thompson

Jordan Jenkins

For me either Dan Gilkes or Connor Bailey would be my choice.

Is Kemp a RS? He wasn't last year for Wolves. It was Leon Flint.

Very good signing in Bellego, Sheffield will have as strong a top two as there will in the Premiership next season.

Surprised only 5.8 average. The strong top 2 were announced previously.

Kemp was on the list last year. Should remain on it. Mountain, Brennan, Hume & Flint shouldn't.

Kemp, I see the potential but it has never come to fruition. Will it? Gilkes was good at Perry Barr in 2021 but only seen him once   Why the clamour for Bailey? Never seen him ride AFAIK but only averages 4.8 at Championship level.

Flint may not be eligible as a RS now he has a 7+ Champ ave

I'll stand to be corrected but I thought the rules were

1. Be under 25 or have less than 3 years experience in the top league

And

2. Have a Premiership average under 5.5 or championship average under 6.5

Personally think it would be harsh on Leon if he was taken off the RS list, I doubt he would be riding in the prem if that’s the case, how’s that good for his development. A year too soon I think.

Would be a great signing. Gilkes would be my no1 choice for the RS but we have last pick so we will be left with what’s left. Imagine it will be Bailey

Presume the rider himself can just say "No" until the track he wants to ride at finally has a pick?

If so, Bailey would be "ok" at the NSS as the RS...

Very much a large track rider who significantly outperforms his overall average at certain specific tracks...

Getting the aggregate bonus point, with large home wins, is the key so I am sure he will he able to help do that at the NSS...

Why would Belle Vue have last pick? As far as I'm aware that system was only in place for graded reserves 2013/14?

I’m sure winning the league means we get last pick. It goes in reverse order. Or maybe it will go on table finishing order so we will get 4th pick

1) I think that was an old rule

2) I also think that's a stupid rule - why punish successful teams & reward poor teams?

It's the way in American football is it not?

Anyway I agree, don't think it's a draft.

Holder, Howarth, Ellis, Bellego, Musielak, Kerr, RS.

Kerr riding like a heat leader for us when he signed last year if he can get near that form he will end up riding at 2 and Kyle at reserve which you’d think he’d be more than handy especially at home. We know Bellego flys around Owlerton and hopefully Ellis can have an injury free year. No pressure on the RS just like Connor last year took him half of season to get there but he was great for us in the play offs and cup final
