Just seen line ups for tomorrows meeting against Wolves in KO Cup as shows Bellego in main body and Howarth at reserve, take it that new averages start with next Premiership League meeting rather than this one due to KO Cup not counting towards rolling average

New averages start on the 1st July so team is correct

Rather have Pickering than Mountain, mountain is still at reserve in the Championship

why would we sign a rider to take Howarth out of the reserve position?

we are stronger with him there at the moment, Pickering will do fine we know what he is capable of

If we can get a fit Pickering into our line up it’s a no brainer based on how he rode last time for us   At the moment having Kyle at reserve is ok at home but not away. As said previously Kerr can gate consistently and is by far the better reserve  as proved at Ipswich. Kerr scored 20+ at Ipswich and wolves where as Kyle was poor at Ipswich and let’s see tomorrow at wolves. Connor mountain is a good lad but I’d expect Josh to out score him over the season

So presumably Kerr is fit to ride, after he fell in his first ride at Berwick yesterday where injured his knee and took no further part in the meeting.

David drops to reserve on Thursday.

Yes,his average changes on the 22nd of June which would take him to reserve.Although the rumours doing the rounds is Pickering will replace him which would leave Howarth at reserve.

Why does his average change on 22nd. I thought GSAs changed after 23rd each month, effective 1st of the next month?

That is usually the case. But as IronScorpion has explained certain riders will get their new ones a week after completing their 3H and 3A.90% of riders will get their new rolling averages from the 23rd with the effective date being the 1st of the following month.

It's on the away matches that the Tigers need strengthening. Pickering's away record this season gives him a GSA average of 2.67. Not sure that's much of an improvement.... apart from which, he's carrying an injury that doesn't seem to be getting better.

While Pickering had a poor start to the season, that 2.67 average is only from 2 meetings so don't think that's what you'll get each week. Even so, still an improvement on Bellego's away from.

Struggling to work out which two away matches give him a 2.67 average?

Away at Wolves (3rd April) 3+2 from 4 rides and Sheffield (25th May)  1 from 2 rides where he was injured again, bonus points don’t count to GSA so it’s 4 from 6 rides giving 0.66666667 per ride giving 2.67 average

Think he will improve on that, if he gets back to his best we have a 6.5 to 7 point rider on our hands

Cheers, had forgotten about the aborted comeback at Owlerton.

What was Bachelor like when you had him in 21'? See he had a GSA of 5.67, does that tell the whole story? See he's back in the UK with Birmingham. Just thinking as an alternative to Pickering because as a hopeless romantic Lynn fan I'd love to see him back with us.
