Speedway grand final 2017 home leg to Swindon. Lost on aggregate  90-89. No Lindgren or Thorssell. Harris guesting 4 points - rubbish from a "track specialist". He beat Bellego (second string) and Liam  Carr and Wilson-Dean both reserves.  Doubt if he has scored as low as that on any subsequent visit.

It happens with guests unfortunately, not sure holding a grudge five years later does anyone any good.

You have to remember he rode for our nearest local rivals, Coventry, for 11 years. He took us to the cleaners on many, many occasions. He, along with Scott Nicholls, was virtually an ever present in all our open meetings as a track specialist. With our top 2 riders in hospital we only needed an average performance. We didn't even get that.

I guess this is the team then if it's true about last years Rising Stars receiving a 25% reduction in GSA's

1. Sam Masters

2. Steve Worrall

3. Nick Morris

4. Ryan Douglas

5. Luke Becker

6. Scott Nicholls

7. Leon Flint

Flick  Nichols or Flint and give Allen a crack, we will then have enough ausies to win something

Sam is captain again next year, I’m pretty sure if Rory was coming back to us he would be. I could be wrong of course but I don’t think so.

Can't just waltz back in and take the captains role from Sam though.

Is Steve Worrall back with you next year?

I know but Pete and CVS reckoned he was probably the best captain they ever had, hard to see them not making him captain again. Not heard anything on Steve to be honest. If Nick goes to Leicester I imagine Steve will be a definite. If not I don’t know, I think we really need a new face in the 1 - 5 to be honest. Was hoping for Josh Pickering but not so sure it’s going to happen.

Not better than "Sudden" Sam surely?

Charles Wright 6.25 fits can't think of many others

If that is the team or something like it unless Becker and/or Douglas really step up then I don't see enough heat winners particularly away from home

Unfortunately I have to agree with you there.
