The age thing is to do with potential really, the younger a rider is the more improvement they generally have in them. You are quite right, their Wolves averages in 2023 will be a great barometer but as things stand the only direct comparison is Championship figures and Flint is comfortably ahead.

You have to laugh really, only Poole supporters can come up with the tripe that one of their precious little riders is better than a rider who comfortably has a better average than him. Good luck to both Wolves and Peterborough fans because their threads will now be swarmed by the Poole mafia who’ll make it all about them.

So who starts on a higher average for Wolves?

Zach Cook is a better rider than Flint. Flint might have a higher Champ average but Zach Cook came on leaps and bounds in the second half of 22. Check out his scores on the Speedway updates.

Was dialled in to a home track with virtually no passing. Gate and go. I wish Flint well as he is a Brit but Zach Cook is an impressive rider with lots of potential. Not so sure with Flint.

Somebodies potential has nothing to do with whether they are a better rider or not. It might make them a more attractive proposition and signing but potential means nothing until he has been fulfilled.

As it stands, Flint is better than Cook based off their Championship averages. Flint had a higher Home, Away and unsurprisingly overall average too.

I really don't get why Poole fans can't follow the progress of our assets when they are also signed up by other clubs because of their racing abilities?!

Just for the record Zach's last  6 meetings - at the business end of the season - scored 13+4; 7+2; 11+3; 9+1; 10+1; and 9.:t:

Only because he's foreign, not because he's better

Leon is better in the Champ I'll give you that but doesn't mean it will work out that way in the Prem. Champ tends to have more smaller tracks and Prem has more bigger ones like Sheffield and Peterborough.

Leon likes the big tracks ..Not so good  on the small ones ...needs to get to grips with MG...

How was Doyle doing at 23?

He wasn’t originally on the R/S list I believe, CVS had to plead his case I think, otherwise he would have had no team this year which would have been ridiculous.

Yeah ...No team would  have took him on at number  6 ...and a RS at 7....Wolves  had 2 R S last year and it didnt work ...No points down the order ....big mistake ..

So is that a yes they are backing Wolves or they looking 4 another  main backer..

Not sure why you’re obsessed with this, Dave Parry has been the main sponsor for 21 years, why would next year be any different. It was announced late December for last year so have a little patience
