Glasgow v Poole/Plymouth Sunday 25 September 2022 - Semi-final Championship Play offs

Recommended Posts

With Glasgow so far not moving the meeting forward, it could play into Poole’s hands. A meeting can be called at heat 10 with the result standing.

The Met Office have rain from 6pm.

…….or into Glasgow’s……. as visiting teams tend to do better in the latter stages at Ashfield. Usually after a major grading ;)

80% chance of rain in possilpark from 7pm tomorrow according to met office. Think should try get this moved forward an hour or 2 or risk either a call off or far from ideal track conditions.

Especially as it’s colder now. As soon as that track gets wet, it’s staying wet.

It's a shame this won't happen.

It would be fine for me, preferable in fact, but they won't make this change at this short notice.

This is looking very unlikely....... :(

All the Pirates need to put it on the line on Sunday. They don’t want to leave Glasgow without giving 100% effort and Havvy will no doubt expect maximum effort. If we come up short, we’ll so be it.

Except for Middlo and yourself :drink:

Not saying it’s right but Middlo isn’t the first promoter of a Southern based track who gets a nosebleed every time they go North of the Watford Gap and neither will he be the last.

The difference between now and the past though is so many meetings can be streamed, it’s possible for a promoter/manager to watch somewhere else and make the changes by phone, Neil can easily call Havvy and suggest he does X, Y or Z and then Gary as the designated voice can inform the clerk of the course/Ref.
