Looking at the updates for Poole v Leicester last night there was no mention of track grading breaks. Not sure if this was actually the case but with Poole gaining momentum from ht8 onwards it would seem common sense not to change a winning feature. Wonder if Glasgow will do this on Sunday?

The usual track work after heats 4, 8 and 12.

we were too good for leicester on the night . plus the fact that leicester riders gave up chasing our boys

Can understand Starkey, former tiger never let us down. Won couple heats with Oxford at Poole from no.2 could be a trump card at reserve. Former Poole rider as well isn't he?

Was a while ago though. But he has been guesting a lot at Poole this season and never gives up. Sure Ippo be telling him not to take too many risks though!

He did ride for us a few years ago but his form hasn't been great lately in either league but I understand your misgivings about Etheridge who didn't score many last night either but has been better recently, personally I would have thought the most reliable option would be Ruml who rides the Poole track well and has never let anyone down when guesting. It is a tricky one as Danyon was going very well and will be missed.

True, no one available will be as good as Danyon. Think I'd have gone for Ruml as he guested for us at Glasgow and was in a few 5-1s for us and got 8 ish? And decent at Poole when he gates, as he knows where to ride to stay ahead.

Now I've said this Starke bound to get a max lol.

I seem to remember Starke being decent at Ashfield earlier in the season. I don't think he's a big risk at 2.

He won't be at 2. Could be a good reserve through, he is a good rider just a little out of form lately but he could be good for you especially against Zach who isn't always great at Ashfield but has been much better lately.

Feels like gone for most reliable option. Ruml could be fantastic or he could be awful. Starkey I'd be shocked if got less than 7 in each leg. I understand the choice but I'd probably have taken the risk on ruml too. Danyon at reserve could've been huge at Poole, shame he's missing out

Yes it is a shame about Hume, he was good for us and has had a good season, nice guy too, I wish him every success in the future.
