Ah interesting. How does it work? Is he a FT employee?

That is beyond the need to know for your typical fan.

But in my opinion Michael Max assists him greatly behind the scenes.

Nicol did not looked interested all night.Obviously he’s away next season,he has been a major disappointment.IMO.

The whole team needs freshened up with the exception of a couple I would keep.

Broc will find it difficult to get a place next year on a 5+ average.

He is too inconsistent and it’s a no from me regarding next season.

Looked very poor crowd tonight. We’re fans voting with their feet after last week + mid week result.

I think it’s more than that. It was also an off night, and rearranged again at short notice after the original rerun for Saturday.

After watching Wednesday’s capitulation you can hardly blame fan’s.

Especially on a cold October evening for a dead rubber.

Calling off mid meeting last Sunday didnt help, with fans having turned out on a baltic evening to watch 5 heats in 90 minutes. BSN will have been the benefactors tonight and I have to say I quite like them. You get a lot more behind the scenes info especially from the pits and its Championship focused unlike Eurosport where Kelvin is clueless about our league. Sedgmen is good to listen to as is Greg Blair.

Some I know didn’t bother even with rain off tickets.

That in itself is pretty damning.

I know a lot of regulars were annoyed that it was Tigers got the match cancelled last week. They even knew who the main culprit would be.

Taking fans for granted is a dangerous route to go if indeed this is the case.

Disgruntled fans are difficult to entice back.

I think the fact Wolverhampton didn't take him back spoke volumes.

Good luck to Poole & Leicester, undeniably the best 2 teams are in the final

Ditty - Over the border they made their way, looking for Scots teams to brighten their day

The Scots teams responded but not very well, what happens next year you never can tell

Think Cook will be glad to see the end of the season, not the force he was round Ashfield but no luck with injuries this season, reckon he has been on the deck more this season than in his whole career.Interesting what happens next with him.Personaly think Tigers should keep him with his average.

Starke should have been exc two mins. Load of rubbish pretending they named a different rider. We all heard who cami Brown picked.

The riders are declared officially to the Clerk of the Course before they go on camera to BSN.

Starke wasn't eligible for heat 15, so Cook was the official nomination. Bit of a silly rule when you can just do as they did, may as well make reserves eligible or do what Poland do and allow the reserve switch after the nomination but before the race.

I recall a similar instance way back in the early 90s at Peterborough in the fours final, Arena Essex wanted to use Moggo in a nominated heat but as the number 5 reserve he wasn’t allowed so they declared Jan Pedersen instead and then when the two minutes came on they were all sat there having a laugh until the clock ran down, I was right next to the pits, it was funny to see it play out.
