I think Poole will muller lester tbh, 6-8 weeks of inactivity is just daft. We know the sports not what is what but teams basically stopping mid august and then starting again in October is just crazy. It needs sorting via the promoters before next season

Promoters and riders appear to be the biggest problem, it should be the BSPL telling clubs when fixtures have to be run by to stop this nonsense. God forbid there should be an outbreak of common sense.

Fair play to Poole. Much the better team over the two legs. Hope they win the final.

The match itself was a bit rubbish. Not a lot of racing - probably more in heat 15 than the rest of the meeting. Personally, I think it’s just too late in the year and getting too cold. I live in hope things will be settled earlier next season.

Poorest racing Ihave seen this year at Ashfield .

Havvy doesn’t look the”full shilling “ these days.Riders must have an interpreter in pits to understand him.

I'm amazed Poole still have him around tbh; strikes me as a total liability. Also quite surprised BSN had him on comms - i suspect that will not be repeated.

I just think they don't build teams, they build a group of well paid individuals. It'll always be that way if you employ the same type of riders. I've been in and around every team in the pits for many years and they all say the right things, but they don't build a real team spirit.

From the outside looking in its leadership that appears to be missing in the team. Cook abdicated the captaincy, Ulle took it on then got injured, Brennan was next in line but he's not experienced enough and not the personality for that type of role IMO. Danyon alluded to it at Poole that no one was talking to each other to make changes and get things going. Contrast that with the Poole pits where Lawson and King were trying to start Z Cooks bike for ht1.

Im not sure the riders are as well paid as you believe but agree they appear to be a collection of individuals this year. Broc seems to have been in a world of his own, just jogging along at his own pace regardless of the opposition or event.

Looked very poor crowd tonight. We’re fans voting with their feet after last week + mid week result.

After watching Wednesday’s capitulation you can hardly blame fan’s.

Especially on a cold October evening for a dead rubber.
