LagutaRacingFan
I've already ordered my season ticket, Emil on his own is worth the price.

You’ve named Iversen, Holder, Tungate, R Worrall and now Emil. Which one are you now omitting? I must admit I'm now unsure because of other rumours but I'd still go with what I was told weeks ago tbh. There must be a reason they're waiting out though. The Pedersen, Sayfutdinov and Andersen rumours just confuse matters. TTT
In my opinion the following five are locked in. 3. Basso (Official) 4. Tungate (Leaving a like on the fixture list post, Wouldn't do that if it didn't hold any relevance to him imo) 5. C. Holder (Flappy mentioned 4 particular riders that put pen to paper ages ago and now three of them have been officially announced) 6. B. Cook (Official) 7. Jenkins (RS) (Official) Final two spots I see two options. Option A (NKI & R. Worrall) or Option B (Nicki P & Hans if Nicki P gets a reassessed average after spending 10 years out of British Speedway) I don't see how Emil stands a chance of riding in the UK if Daniel Smith's recent post on the Ipswich thread is the correct process because our government has no interest in helping Russian's out, They're far too pro Ukrainian. Ipswich delay could now all be down to them waiting to see who we give them out of Andersen & Worrall imo because they can't sign a seventh rider without knowing which one we're going to give them first because as you know Speedway is all about averages. Goldhawk
I had pleasure of meeting Emil in the services on M4 coming back from Cardiff around 10 years ago. He stopped what he was doing and took time to speak to us and posed for pictures. He really is one top guy and would be brilliant to see him here. He surely should have won World Championship a number of times by now and a true World class rider. i live 2 hours from the Showground but would have to make the trip to see him. Hope the rumours are true. Would be amazing to see him round the showground and will dominate as did Crumpy and Sully back in the day.

TTT
I don't mean it in a my club is bigger than yours kind of way lol. What I mean is this. Ipswich probably have verbal agreements in place with a couple of riders ranging from second string to heat leaders but they can't actually offer one of them a contract to sign as it stands until they know how many points they'll have left to use on the final rider. That's the only other reason I can think of as to why the delay has been so lengthy at Ipswich if it's nothing to do with Emil.

LagutaRacingFan
Peterborough has a large contingent of Eastern Europeans. Emil will be at home in Peterborough. There are many Polish restaurants and supermarkets to visit. Can the same be said about Ipswich?

Peterborough MP Paul Bristow has a lot of influence within the Conservative Party. He is regarded as a rising star in the party and is very close to Suella Bravermann. It wouldn't take long to sort something out with the Home Secretary. Edited January 8, 2023 by BassoRacingFan
