scoobydoo
Dont see why Peterborough dont just bide there time and see what happens with rider availability in the new year with the last two riders , there maybe someone who could change there mind and want to ride in the Uk that fits the jigsaw , ok it could be a gamble but it could be a gamble that has very good results.

Someone is going to have to fold first on this one, maybe with Peterborough's new owner willing to spend more, they are in the better position to take a risk

TTT
Not having a dig here but I think Ipswich are way more desperate than us to sign Richie Worrall to a point where Guy Nicholls would help fund a move if push comes to shove. With Ipswich if they lost out on Richie Worrall then they'll probably have to go with both Hans Andersen & Troy Batchelor and they really can't afford that to happen. Where's if Peterborough missed out we'd only end up with one of Hans Andersen or Troy Batchelor and personally I'd be happy with the latter option anyway. As I've mentioned on the Ipswich thread the best deal for everyone involved is R. Worrall & Andersen to Ipswich with Batchelor at Panthers. Why? Because Ipswich need a 3 & 4 pairing and Ipswich fans don't want Troy Batchelor and tbh the majority of Panthers fans don't want Hans Andersen and I say that with a heavy heart considering Hans is a club legend. Both clubs would be 1 something under the limit but their would be room to make an early team change if things turn sour in the Cup fixtures once some EU riders make themselves available. Luckily for Ipswich,, they probably have the biggest following of diehards,,, and they would still turn up if we were 10 points under the limit,,,, they would also think its a fantastic team,,, and everything is brilliant

scoobydoo
I'd sooner Peterborough let Ipswich have Worrall as his average was achieved mostly at reserve, than pay over the odds to sign him,, The best scenario is a big hitting #1 becomes available and perhaps use Hans , Tungate is ok at the showground but his away form is very patchy , it also pairs either Holder or NKI (if signed) to ride with Basso (if signed) and allows him to just improve further without any real pressure on him. If its a $1 also Peterborough would be in a strong position to accommodate him as all other teams would need radical changes to fit him in . You never know maybe someone like Dudek will lower his demands But its a gamble for sure.but could be 1, TBC 2 Hans 3 NKI , 4 Basso, 5 Holder, 6 B Cook , 7 Jenkins Edited December 16, 2022 by scoobydoo

Flappy
Richie Worrall actually won more races around Peterborough last season in three meetings than Andersen won all season. Worrall scored 9+1, 8+1 & 8+1 in those meetings. For me Andersen would be a very very lucky man if he gets a job in the premier League and a poor signing for panthers in what looks a strong side.
