I'm claiming nothing other than 5 riders and a new owner.

The reality is it doesn't matter what a fan thinks of a rider personally, they're here to do a job and if they do that job fans will cheer them, if they don't they lose their job.

I don't buy this not wanting a rider because he's not a nice person

There would be a shortage of riders if it was only the good guys who were employed

Why are the club not approaching Emil and Artem? Both are desperate to ride.

Even if they are desperate to ride, they will still demand and command a sizeable investment. It's whether or not the new owner is willing to make that big of an investment.

I can imagine signing Chris Holder took a sizeable offer to tempt him to Peterborough. I would be unsure if there is budget left for Emil or Artem.

Ignore him Jack, he is excited as it's only 10 sleeps to Santa.

Exactly.

For example I'd rather have a title challenging 1-7 with 5 unlikeable riders rather than a nice guy 1-7 who wouldn't put in a title challenge.

He / she knows F All, continuous guessing.  Always making a fool of themselves. Don’t let it make you ‘Moody’

Tbf Flappy's track record speaks for itself this winter. Not even a guesser would get that lucky 24/7 tbh. First to say KK was riding in the UK and he was going to Lynn, First to say Gilkes to Sheffield etc.

Also you have to take into account that the 5 riders Flappy is adamant on haven't signed elsewhere either which is very telling.

Imo frustrations are boiling over on this thread and the panic is setting in among some of the fan base due to a lack of news and it's totally understandable tbh considering every other teams is on the verge or has already names a full 1-7.

We've just got to remain patient through this final stretch imo as I feel like some news is imminent going by the Speedway Star Quotes today and we might even here something at the Quiz Night on Friday.

Seems like Flappy has got under one or two peoples skin.....believe him or don't believe him, up to you, but don't see the need to have a go at him.

Annoyance that he knows stuff others don't would be my guess.

Nobody should ever say with confidence that so and so has signed. Flappy could absolutely end up correct no question, but it’s foolish to be so confident. It’s a fluid situation and as I’ve said many times, things change on an hourly basis. I’ve also been told things by a very reliable source and in good faith, but until they’ve signed on the dotted line and announced officially by clubs then things can always change because there’s so many moving parts to these deals. PhilTheAce no doubt also has good info, but he was sure that Kerr wasn’t returning to Sheffield but instead going to Leicester. But Kerr has indeed ended up back at Sheffield. That doesn’t mean he gets duff info, at the time Kerr more than likely was in at Leicester but again, things twist and turn behind the scenes all the time.

Barker to Wolves was Phil's best so far....

I was saying barker was an option as his average fitted perfectly.

Trouble is with so called ITKs (myself included) in can get a bit Chinese whispers, 1 person tells someone. They then tell someone else who then tells us. By the time it’s reached the person that posts it in public things will change.

I don’t always believe the stuff I’m told, but I’ll post it anyway.

I don’t believe Emil is at Ipswich but a few w

people I talk to are sure he’s in at Ipswich.

basso- signed

holder - signed

b. Cook- signed

as for the other one I dont think it will be anyone new to British speedway so that leaves tungate, batch, worrall or Craig cook . Assuming tungate and batch will be at Ipswich soooo….

Bit of exaggeration  to claim people are having a go at  him/her. I am certainly not

I can't think of anyone available close to 8.40 odd so it's got to be Tungate or Zagar imo.

Zagar's very expensive for what he offers outside of the NSS imo so it's a big layout for an average return imo.

Tungate on the other hand is a No.5 minimum around Peterborough and he'd be cheaper than Zagar so he's the most logical option imo.

Emil or Artem would be on a 8 point average.
