Left at town bridge (Posh ground), right at the next roundabout, then right again after 100 yards at the mini roundabout & follow the road round. It's 5 miles from the EoES to the dog track you'll see if it's that far down. Totally wrong instructions coming from Cambridge to Fengate, the parkway will take you straight there (so imagine you are taking the P) - but it’s not going to happen, the site is already sold for housing. Even if it wasn’t it’s a very large residential area, no chance of planning permission. Let’s get this one off the table - there will never be Speedway in this area. Not a chance. I wonder why I bother with this board sometimes, probably you all think the same about me. Edited December 7, 2022 by wealdstone
LagutaRacingFan
Does anyone know if a bus service runs to the new proposed site?
Shhalewhhale
Depends on which end of Edgerley Drain Road it would be. If it's closer to Newark/Sainsbury's end then there's the number 4, if it's closer to the Power Station end then nothing in the evening.

The question was "is it far from the EoES" so taking that as the starting point and assuming that people can picture that then the directions/distance were totally correct. It wasn't answered in the style of a Tom Tom device with a starting point of Cambridge although I get your point.

Still think with the help of the infamous Liz Truss mini budget the Panthers will be racing at the showground beyond the next season
KetteringPanther2
Good morning all. Would somebody be very kind and bring me up to speed on developments? I've read lots of posts concerning talk of takeover and a new stadium but there is nothing on other sites I can see. Incredibly the last time I saw Panthers was when we won away at Poole - as I live just outside Poole.

He runs several car auction sites so I'd hazard a guess it'd involved something like that onsite

proud panther
Doubt if the land allegedly being purchased is the greyhound stadium. Land a bit more rural would be a fraction of the price.
