According to the Wolves match preview for 17th July  its looking like the Hans Andersen rumour was true after all as Connor Mountain rides at 6 for Peterborough

Story on the Peterborough Telegraph website covers his absence

Buster is the owner of Peterborough isn't he... just not the promoter

I was responding to the post which was quoting a source (programme for the postponed match last week?) "Peterboro is now in the hands of the BSPL"

This one could be horrible as can't see Tarasenko liking Wolverhampton at all

I just about remember going to Monmore some time in the early 1970's to see a GB v Russia test match. It was of course a drubbing. Most of the Russians probably hadn't been there before. But it was quite entertaining. I think they mostly got round ok but only just.

After running Wolves close tonight I nearly got excited then had a reality check that we are still bottom of the league and still in an embarrassing position..Imagine if 2 other changes were made a month ago with a number 1 that could win more than one race a meeting..we might still have something to race for....none the less a great effort from a severely handicapped team (in terms of team building points average) with the cheapest guest they could find.

El Bustico on 24th July is live on Eurosport

Will it even go ahead is the question?

Wages need paying for 14 riders and it's a TV meeting which will see a drop in attendance.

Race for the 'Wooden Spoon Title'.

A meeting as big as this, in front of the cameras should be £5.

Every club should do the live TV meetings at £5.

Could this be the first meeting ever in the history of the sport where both teams lose? :D

So, we had one person say Hans had been dropped, or left, a correction from his 'manager' then a freak injury rules him out. Hmmm.

The person who said he had been dropped did so a couple of days before he rode at Leicester. He then got injured two days later practicing in Denmark and was advised to rest for seven days, he supplied a medical certificate to the club. He is scheduled to return to racing next week as long as his injury has cleared up, which I think it will have. There’s no hmmm about it.
