Peterborough Panthers 2023

If Buster truly cared about the club and it's fans then he'd hand the club over to Tomalin free of charge with immediate effect, Buster isn't fit to run a speedway club in 2023 and almost everyone has had enough of him.

I'm surprised Rob Lyon has stuck around this long tbh.

Buster now has 2 people on the outside that want to run the club with a team manager who's in with them.

Johnson has the promotors licence

Tomalin wants the club

Let them have it and cut your losses

Yeah Buster do one.

Surely between them they get some money together and buy it. It has a value, even if it’s 10 to 20 grand for machinery and air fence. Why should he give it away?

My understanding is that the supporters club own the machinery.

Is the air fence worth £10k ?. There must be other costs involved I would of thought.I’m pretty sure Buster would sell if the right money was offered.

I am surprised nobody has lost their rag and gave buster a dig ?

Football fans would be queing up (not that I think it is the right course of action)

I don’t know, the Glazers attend the odd game and come out unscathed. How I don’t know.

The news of Johnson’s departure – leaving the Panthers, which is owned by Keith Chapman, without a licensed promoter – came as a bombshell just hours after they went down to their heaviest defeat of a dreadful season in which they have lost 12 of their 13 matches so far, at Leicester on Thursday night.

Having finished at the bottom of the Premiership table last year, the team is heading for back-to-back wooden spoons with 11 matches left.

I thought ever since Tim Stone it was mandatory to have two promoters,.

Does this mean that Peterborough have been operating outside the regulations?

Under the current ownership NOTHING would surprise me!

Does Tarasenko become an asset of Peterborough after the completion of his required qualifying matches or as i believe it was Plymouth promotor Mark Phillips who sponsored his visa to ride in the Uk is he still classed as a free agent as he wont ride at all for Plymouth in 2023 ?

Are you sure that’s right? I’m happy to be corrected but I don’t think it’s legal to sponsor people on others behalf’s. There was a whole host of issues of this years ago when riders didn’t have the correct visas and then chopping and changing sides mid season. Tarasenko doesn’t ride for Plymouth or work for any of Philips’ businesses.

Because he can't cope when it comes to running two clubs at once, KL and Pboro can't even be competitive for the first 4 Heats let alone the full 15.

Buster can save more than 20k if he gave the club away as he wouldn't have to pay the wages for Peterborough's 1-7 anymore which would be of interest to him imo.

This completely all costs move away from him mid season that's worth more than he can expect to get for the club
