Flip flop between the two as it stands.

I've got no interest in giving Buster another penny of my money but I'll gladly turn up every week if Tomalin owned the club.

If you put as much energy into starting a campaign to keep your club open as you are into calling for your club to close immediately just because you're not winning you may stand a chance of continuing into the future.

Having had 3 of the clubs I supported close over the years, I wouldn't wish it on any one.

Same. I get the reliability issue, but currently Ben Cook is nowhere near Craig Cook’s level.

And how many meeting of his have you watched to come to this viewpoint. Champ level he is only 2 points behind atm. Bet it is closer come end of the season.

Myself and @Flappy are really trying to force change by being as vocal as we possibly can at this stage but we need a whole lot more fans to come on board tbh.

It's and uphill battle to save the club but it's better to go down trying rather than staying silent and watch ingeverything get taken away imo.

It's beyond dreadful and I think a big rift is brewing on the management side of things and it's going to fall apart just like our team, Could possibly see Tomalin walking with Rob Lyon if this continues imo.

:D On the BSF.

LP30, m "The proposal includes the provision of a new facility of a similar nature and of a similar or greater size in a suitable on or off-site location." - that's the bit that you need to focus on - AEPG and PCC need to be held accountable for that local plan provision. If you want fans to do something then get them to contact their councillor and MP with that request, that's not too difficult or taxing.

It's the club that's being silent and you'd hope that they are working behind the scenes on this? Who is actually up for the fight and willing to stick with this long term? Can't see the owner being up for it and apart from that we're seemingly rudderless.

AEPG having issues and their development slows, giving us a stay of execution for 2 or 3 seasons at the EoES is the only hope IMO. It'll be important that someone keeps an eye on the speedway infrastructure at the end of August to ensure that AEPG don't damage any of it. They can't do that without meeting LP30.

You don’t have to watch ANY meetings to come to that conclusion, the stats speak for themselves. Currently, Ben Cook isn’t anywhere near Craig Cook that’s a simple fact.

Without doubt.  I'm not calling for him to be first out the door there's many others that need to go but if there's a chance of getting say Craig Cook at reserve I'd do it.

Depends what Craig cook turns up on the night tho, not worth the risk atm I’m afraid, if we had a stronger consistent team then I’d get it more but at current it would be a waste of time

The problem that you’ve got is some fans and I use the word some specifically because it’s not all before I get shouted down by anyone, are blinded by what’s going on and are happy too ‘just have a club to support’ which yes I get but there’s no realism in that, that’s like sending kids out on a pitch against United or something like that, essentially a hammering takes place and it’s not worth the money and it’s VERY difficult to get behind and take positives from. I’m glad we still have a club to support but serious questions should be asked over the point of it all when said owner knows he’s tracking a weak team to prop up the table. Just don’t understand it personally.

I get that, hopefully he’s in a better place currently. But when options are sparse, I personally would sign him and IF things take a turn for the worse and he goes awol, deal with that if and when it happened. The bloke is a 9 pointer in the Championship and has started this season very well. He’s a sub 5 in the Premiership and in my opinion is excellent value for that. I’d take him as a short term replacement for Riss at Ipswich without any hesitation.

This team is just as competitive as KL, Leicester and Wolves and it would resolve all of our current team issues.

1. Matej Zagar

2. Craig Cook

3. Rohan Tungate

4. Ben Basso

5. Niels-Kristian Iversen

6. Ben Cook

7. Jordan Jenkins (RS)

You're a funny guy :lol::t:

The only way I’d think of including him in the side was If it was at reserve, replacing Andersen with Cook changes nothing in the grand scheme in my opinion. It is what it is unfortunately and what it is is a sad state of affairs

Cook will score better than Andersen for me.  However that's why I mentioned Ben Cook and got laughed at.

If we're looking at the future and Ben will stay loyal I get why we'd do it but then you need to make at least 3 changes in the main body of the team

I think you have bigger fish to fry at the moment than winning speedway matches. If your club does not survive into the future you'll not be winning Speedway matches again for a very long time

Not calling for the club to close just because we're losing, I'm saying we may as well shut the place down if Buster isn't willing to put some effort in.

Buster simply refuses to sign a replacement by putting obstacles in the way whether it's financial, personal grudges etc.

Buster isn't a team player and he doesn't put the club first because he's not listening to his work colleagues when it comes to the team and they're now getting fed up with him.

Buster isn't showing any respect to the fans who've supported the club way before he stepped foot in the place.

List never ends.

Yes, but there's hardly a queue of people lining up to buy the club is there... The Ford's can't even unload Poole! And riders aren't exactly queuing up to ride in the UK either, how much would you be willing to pay as an entrance fee to see a signing like Zmarzlik, Janowski, Vaculik or any GP No 1? £30? £40? It's simple economics, because even if you were... they'll be 5 or 6 others that won't.

Nicki P has let you (and Buster) down badly, I can't see how you think Buster hasn't shown you respect, I remember him on the PA last year (I think) and he was most respectful about the clubs supporters and staff... he paid you the ultimate respect by saving your club when nobody else wanted to.

All we need is one person willing to buy the club thought and that's what we've currently got.

So why hasn't he?

Because what business man would, buster wants well over 100 grand for the club, and for what ,, the brand, shale and air bags, then if MT does buy it he’s then got to fork out probably 750 grand for new land and build something similar to Leicester. It’s a million pound investment which you will never get back
