Masters has an inflated average due to how well he goes around Monmore imo.

True....not so good away....A no 1 in this league ..but not a true no 1 like Doyle ...Lindgren  Pedersen...To good to ride in the championship but easy money 4 him ...if u want to be the best u need to ride against the best ...ie ..ride in the top Polish league....

His away Ave isnt the best for a no 1 ...Good at M.G tho....away from home heats 13 and 15 ...could be better....not reliable  like Doyle in those heats ...

To be fair to Masters, not many are when compared to Doyle...

Masters is absolutely superb around Foxhall. Lowered Doyle’s colours twice in one meeting last year, nobody else could manage that. He’ll be a big danger man again when Wolves visit.

Yeah ..good round Foxhall....but away ave is not usually  very good ...9.5 at home about 7ish away ...but Wolves gain with S.Worrall at no 2 ....there's  no better number  2....solid ...

Flint is the strongest RS in the league imo.

Masters is good around Monmore but I think he's poor on the big tracks hence why I think he'll struggle especially if Ipswich & Pboro manage to get the top end riders they want.

Yeah Sam struggles on the big tracks, only managed a combined 35+6 from 3 meetings at Belle Vue last year, shocking!!!!  All this rubbish about Sam not being a proper No 1 is complete BS

He isnt in the same class as say Doyle or Bewley ...There are better  no 1s in the league..His away ave doesnt lie ....

If he didn't pick up easy money in the Champs I don't think people would label him an improper number one. He finished fifth in the averages last year, be interesting to see where he ends up this year with one or two big names returning.

Compare Masters away average to GP riders Jack Holder & Max Fricke, Nikolai Klint (only did 4 matches mind) or Chris Harris (number one last year, but not this year) & he doesn't seem so bad!

Masters 7.36 (8.09)

Fricke 7.32 (8.10)

Harris 7.27 (7.87)

Klindt 7.06 (7.53)

Holder 6.34 (7.22)

Exactly, and no one would say Max Fricke or Jack Holder who are GP riders, aren’t a proper No 1 coz they’re not great away. It’s all BS because Sam doesn’t ride in the top Polish league or the GP’s.

Yawn!!!  His rolling average at the end of September was 8.41, second only to Doyle despite carrying injuries for a couple of months. I’ll take Sam as No 1 thanks, quite happy with that.

Like I said hours ago Masters average is highly inflated due to his performances around Monmore. The stats don't lie, Look at the significant drop off away from Monmore.

Hearing Lindgren is done.

Prefer Nicki.

I'm not convinced that Lindgren would be able to fulfill a full British calendar considering his long covid issues, I could see a scenario where he would quit British racing halfway into the season if the long covid starts causing him bother.
