I very much doubt MT is that stupid……..

Might depend on how much money changed hands, cant think  that Panthers in current situation  worth much or anything

Good bit of business by Buster to sell a team (if He has) that might not have anywhere to race next year.

Tomalin seems to be a shrewd successful business man so you can bet hes not paid that much for the club ( if he has),  and with his extra drive to keep the Panthers on track he could end up with a club thats worth far more than what he paid for it  and more so from a fans view hes the better person as a Peterborough fan to keep pushing and not let it just die

Tomalin wouldn't buy into a business that doesn't have a future imo.

Tomalin is wise enough to have a contract signed that guarantees Peterborough's future from 2024 onwards before sealing any deal to buy the club off Buster.

I might be wrong but I think the supporters club might have purchased some of the track equipment

They did  but  gave it to club so ownership!! Morally and arguably  not owned by Buster.  Also arguably it is due to supporters club that  Panthers still  running.

Would the matter of having the necessary permissions for the land earmarked for the new stadium (which presumably would be dual use for Mr Tomalin's business), and it's purchase, need to be completed before Peterborough speedway's ownership is bought by Mr Tomalin?

Until then, maybe becoming a co-promoter is as far as he can go, and I'm not sure if his application has been approved yet? Perhaps this is what is delaying C. Holder from signing a contract, because change of club ownership may be some way away from happening.

Depends, saying you're a winner then include Andersen & be 2 points under the limit would be seen as very stupid.

Quite possible Buster has pulled off an astonishing coup selling a homeless Speedway club.

Tomlin could quite well be doubly stupid

Just because someone owns their own business doesn't make them financially clever.

That is true. But in this case i suspect MT has a good legal and finance team around him, that has helped him get to where he is today. A bloke on a market stall might not;)

Not us that's for sure.

We've been heavily linked with the following 5 riders Nicki P, C. Holder, Tungate, R. Worrall & Andersen.

So the final three are bound to be out of those five, One of them is a no go apparently, Maybe even two of them.

Anybody...when is the next announcement due ????

Ipswich  .....may be ....or could it be Hume...

Neither Rowe or Hume are strong enough to ride at the number 2 slot, Thomas and Rew are the reserves as it stands and i can't see the point of pushing Rew out of the reserve slot and then give him a tougher job at number 2.

Pretty sure Hume is at Ipswich, he got offered a deal at lynn but turned it down as Louis promised him a ride at Ipswich, but…. We all know speedway. Louis could have changed his mind and left danyon in the rubbish

Think the idea is to sign Hume as the reserve, and hope Rew holds his own in the main body. Hume will start in the main body (if signed) because of the starting averages, but they’ll be effectively signing him as the reserve with Thomas. Seems from the Hume interview in last weeks Speedway Star, he’s expecting an Ipswich place.

Rowe could well be the number 8, at either Ipswich or Peterborough.

I don't think it's for us that's for sure.

I think we're going 2.30 under the limit if Tomalin buys the club because Michael clearly wants Holder in the side, @Gasser90 has stuck with the same 1-7 all winter and it just looks a formality at this point imo.

Is Anders Rowe on the RS list? If yes then someone has probably dropped out at another Prem club and they've signed Anders as the replacement.
