I can, I saw it and still remember it clearly to this day, Howe was lucky he didn’t get his licence pulled, an absolutely disgraceful bit of riding notwithstanding the fact that it could have resulted in a serious or worse injury for Pedersen. I am not in no way excusing Pedersen taking off Doncaster in an earlier race but that was on a par with Doyle taking off Basso this year. The Pedersen/Doncaster incident was extremely hard riding I agree, but it was still a racing incident. The retaliation by Howe was the most blatant piece of fencing I have ever seen, and certainly nothing to do with racing

Baldyman
Oh no that's started it,,,, what about Hans riding into the side of Danny,,, with Danny luckily staying on,,, then in Hans next race he drove straight into the side of Heeps,,, taking him off. There has always been some dubious collisions,,, but people only see it from their teams perspective.

In 50 odd years of watching speedway racing have seen a lot of racing, racing incidents, crashes etc, some deliberate hard riding and some outright dangerous moves. The Ben Howe v Ronnie Pedersen incident was truly shocking, Howe quite deliberately rode Pedersen into the fence, it was utterly blatant with no regard for the safety of Pedersen and Howe made no attempt to race, his sole intention was just to put Pedersen in the fence. I have never seen anything like it since, at least with most other racing incidents and crashes I have witnessed the guilty party wants to win the race, this was different, the race was secondary Howe’s only objective was to ensure Pedersen hit the fence. He couldn’t have made it any clearer. 2

Then there was Nathan Greaves taking Danny King thou the fence at Ipswich oh hang on that was two riders from the same team does that count Talking of controversy is Leigh Lanham still getting changed in the dressing room by any chance

You could read that statement one of 2 ways where it states they had to rebuild the team, either their had to rip up their originally planned 1-7 or their rebuilt the team from last season which they have in theory if only Basso, Jenkins and haps Andersen remain, and also it will be an exciting new team compared to last season if only the above mentioned 2 or 3 riders remain i suppose and 3 or 4 fresh faces are in the line up, that's one way of looking at it. That was mentioned in the club press release last week so it has to be that one imo.

I wouldn't class keeping 3 riders as rebuilding either. MT has also mentioned on FB that we're not dealing with Dad's Army

SteveLyric2
Just to add to the mix - Antonio Lindback will be in the country for Steve Worrall's Testimonial on 29th March, the day before P&P day!!!??? Just a thought as he's a Poole asset!

Therefore I honestly don't think Tomalin would be still be talking about play-offs if we were left way short of the points limit having to go with a 1-7 that nobody really wanted on the management side of things either. To me Tomalin's comments scream NKI, R. Worrall, Basso, Tungate, C. Holder, B. Cook & Jenkins.
