I presume to the promoter.

I really don't understand why some people seem to have a problem with that. Do they want promoters to only stage meetings that loose money? No wonder nobody wants to be a promoter. I'm pretty sure that Buster has faced huge amounts of additional costs this year at his two tracks, and if this helps defray those losses I'm content with that.

PS And I'm usually to be found throwing rotten tomatoes rather than praise in his direction.

PPS Nobody is forcing you to go.

Think he has made a good few quid from the current run of home meetings.

We're you actually there? The crowd was very good with a delayed start to get everyone in.

It was a reasonable crowd but the delayed start to get people in was due to the accident on the A1 nearby and the traffic build up as the Police closed the road.   Someone I know was in it for 2 hours and missed the first 7/8 races!

Can I ask where the money raised at the farewell meeting will be going ?

You can ask, but I doubt you'll get an answer.

And surely, the question of whether or not a bung has been made by one party to another, is a largely irrelevant one.

What is really getting up people's noses is the apparent total resignation by Buster Chapman to there being any future for speedway in Peterborough and his "advice" to everyone to do the same!

The lengthy statement contained so much self-serving guff about how grateful everyone ought to be for being given a competitive team, no matter how late in the season that was, it was almost enough to make me throw up my dinner. And it was a smokescreen.

Why, for what end? The vast majority seem to have given up so 1 or 1000, what difference does it make?

They've got the wrong approach.

Fair enough we're more than likely chasing a lost cause but at least we can say we've put up a fight by trying everything possible rather than rolling the red carpet out for AEPG.

The 15 & 16 page objections from Orton Southgate make interesting reading. If they in any way know what they are talking about then they've ripped AEPG a new one :D

This is the best Ray of hope that I have seen from anyone since about April 2023. I have also shared elsewhere.

Is this guy for real? Or taking the absolute pish? This is the worst time ever to come out with more bolixio. Prior to the season he was our messiah, our saviour, “we will be World beaters”, he said. Then F All communication all season. Now this crap. We were the worst team I’ve ever watched at Peterborough for 53 years. Appears we are the same age too, was a very young kid at the first meeting with my parents. All that happened was to change our traditional colours to suit. We ARE Red And Black. Thanks for your sponsorship but I would have preferred us to die without your false promises. Forgive my emotion but walking away last night for the last time was a very sad moment.

Genuine question for Panthers fans living in (close proximity) to Peterborough. In the worst case scenario, meaning no PP anymore, who would you be more inclined to go watch:

A. King's Lynn Stars

B. Leicester Lions

What about option C. Neither

Wouldn't give Buster another penny so would be Leicester but the racing can't compare to the showground.
