Harris in this weeks Star thought about quitting Premier League after this .....er transfer of riders.

It's an interesting one isn't it... a rider who has shown zero loyalty to any club he's ridden for over the last few years, has become a running joke in the sport, gets his knickers in a twist because all of a sudden a club decide to do exactly what he's done.

His loyalty to British Speedway is not in doubt, be he has absolutely no problem in riding for which ever club calls him up on any given day even if the result of the match may effect the club he is contracted to and captain of

As I said before I can never remember him being released mid season but he's happy to pick up every guest booking under the sun within his well calculated average each year. Smacks of a lack of self awareness - his loyalty to British speedway is only because he was never good enough  to make Poland work full time.

Although I'd imagine it's more his other half doing the talking and his mouth just moving!

Self employed person maximising his earnings whatever next.

No problem with that... if the sport wants any kind of loyalty they need to salary the riders, like Football does.

He can't have it both ways though... I'm not sure what his beef is to be honest

Although he loves to ride Peterbough track, his local track is Leicester since the demise of Coventry and they have a chance of glory this season but he wasnt getting great scores at Leicester so fully understand the decision as he should. Harris is a nice guy but if you are not scoring like you should then you have to expect the sack.

Only question about his loyalty is when it comes to CL teams. When did he last do two consecutive seasons with the same team?

His scoring at Leicester this season has been fine:

When did he last do two consecutive matches for the same team in any league :D

to be fair, I've just checked and this season he's only done 1 guest appearance in the CL and 4 in the PL

Remarkably consistent. He's no Finn Jensen.

Not many double figures, if his performances are good why was he sacked?

It's a numbers game isn't it, to replace Batch who wasn't living up to anywhere near his average from the riders available (and/or, happy/willing to ride at Leicester), 2 changes had to be made.

This was all brought about by Nick Morris failing to take a drugs test. It's not like Bomber has been left without a club... like Dan Thompson for example

Dan Thompson had to go, he is riding better now but he wasnt so had to go so did Batch but is Cook any better,Richie is nowhere near Harris so agree Batch had to go but the replacements are not any improvement in my view

I think it's fair to say Cook is a better starter and around Leicester that counts, Richie Worral around Leicester probably about the same as Bomber... which is why it was always about replacing Batch

Around Leicester maybe but away Bomber is better

"Worrall away, has averaged 6.09 for the Panthers,  and Bomber 5.83 for the Lions".

So you would rather have Worrall than Bomber!

It doesn't really matter. I was just pointing out that it don't seem the case that Bomber is better away.:)

Bomber absolutely owned us in the Speedway Star.

That buffoon Buster Chapman made him the new captain as well lol.
