Andy Abbot talking on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire just now suggested that the Sheffield Promoter can run the Panthers v Tigers meeting on Thursday.

,,as he is a BSPL Board Director rather than just Sheffield promoter!

If not him, BSPL will appoint someone - Had Danny Ford not been away at the moment It would probably have been him as the most 'independent' one on the board!!

Just in case you were worried about your number one fan, as he has gone very quite. I’m pleased to let you know basso racing fan has appeared safe & well talking his brand of bollocks on the Sheffield Ipswich thread.

Quick hide before he comes back.

If he has he will always be a club legend. Makes me quite sad seeing him struggle like he has

The guy's been a legend in British Speedway... alarm bells for me were ringing when he said he'd not been on a bike since last season until practice day, which imo spoke volumes!

He has been declared for Thursday's meeting though

Hans left I’ve heard

I hope so for his own sake.

It's sad watching the club legend these days when we've got so many good memories in the back of our minds.

Looks like we might have a meeting on Thursday, http://www.peterborough-speedway.com/news.php?extend.4210

Yey...another hammering...can't wait...what's more worrying is Johnson confirming what we all suspected..Buster is going to run us into the ground and is holding out for a stupid price..

Isn't Bates in charge at both Sheffield and Leicester though.

Different brother at each track

Agreed and then blamed a lack of track time a few meetings in.

The bang on the head in the final at Belle Vue was scary and I wonder if it did him more harm than we would know

And us fans and I mean all of us as a collective sit back and do nothing
