The only 2 tracks out of them that directly shut as a result of low crowds were Newcastle and Eastbourne.

With no planning application yet to be put in for the East of England Showground is there any chance of speedway taking place there next season and maybe even somebody buying the stadium so it remains in situ? - Cause with the leisure facilities planned for the EoES site surely keeping the stadium would only benefit such plans?

Possible to argue that although ultimately it was financially more attractive to stop running at the other 2 whichever opinion you have of the size of the fanbases

You could say that about almost every football club, Rugby club and (obviously) speedway club in the Country!

Plans have been submitted but as yet no further information forthcoming on the application's outcome ,

With the club just now existing in a pointless joke status its looks more favourable for the club to just shut up shop and put an end to the circus that surrounds it now .

An application for change of use to car storage and preperation has been submitted, some of which is retrospective, but pretty certain the application for the long term redevelopment hasn't been yet.

As far as I know Rob Lyon is managing Peterborough tonight.   Presume King's Lynn have made alternate arrangements now, but I don't know what.
