FFS I feel like we are being prodded with a S### stick this year...Ross probably said "boss I'm ready to come back"...and they said we are not risking u in our team..go and have a practice a number 1 for Panthers and we will take it from there...

If he was allowed to, Riss would be taking his place back tomorrow at Foxhall instead of racing at Monmore Green. But he can’t. Nothing to do with Ipswich not risking him. Riss has already come through his comeback meeting for Redcar with flying colours.

But yes, it certainly doesn’t harm Ipswich for Riss to get another meeting under his belt before he returns for Ipswich next Thursday at Sheffield.

Poor Erik Riss being forced to cover a number 1 position straight after coming back from injury.

Wolves will hit 60.

Absolutely pathetic by all parties this.

This is quite literally fixture fulfillment. 3.5 under the limit and when Tarasenko is in the team Monday we'll be 4.5 under the limit

From the Wolves thread. Could explain Riss…

“Peterborough now have the same problem we had with Becker in that to replace Nicki Pedersen they can now only use a rider with a 25% lower average. With Leicester the only team not riding on Monday they will use Erik Riss at number 1.

Should make for a comfortable home win”

If correct you have 6.45 for NP

Wolves have tweeted the following:

Peterborough feature track record holder Niels-Kristian Iversen and Monmore expert Hans Andersen at reserve. Our lads need YOUR support to keep our winning home run going! Gates open at 6.30pm, with kids £1!

Obviously Wolves couldn't tweet, come & see us hit 60+ against a weak Panthers team. Gotta make it try & sound interesting!

I'm sure the majority of Wolves fans were hoping to see Chris Harris guest for Panthers as we haven't seen him for a while! Or is he already fixed up?

A bit difficult as we are allowed riders up to 6.45 and Bombers current GSA is 7.45

Makes a mockery of the injury replacement rule. Riss can't return to Ipswich yet but can guest for another team? I assume that means if King was injured he could guest for him, but not get his team spot back till the 28 days are up?

Many years ago, i'm fairly sure that due to one of those quirky rules British speedway love so much, that John Davis rode as a guest replacement for himself.

John Davis that's a name from the past,I used to go to the Wolves talk-ins,and always remember Pete Adams talked about him with a vengeance,it was quite comical really, think it was because Davis quite fancied himself, and poor old Pete is hardly an oil painting lol.

Rob Lyon taking charge of King's Lynn this evening whilst Carl Johnson is running Panthers.

Bit odd that considering all going out their way to say they don't share ownership only a couple of weeks back.

At this point, there is no point even commenting on the shambles the club and sport have become.
