Would you guys be able to fit in KK, Tarasenko and Tungate? That surely provides some much needed firepower? I'm assuming KK already knew he was on his way out last Monday when Lynn were at the Showground given Alex Brady's comments on when Laguta was signed. That might explain his poorer showing on a track that should suit him.

To me that's enough reason not to sign KK, I've defended him far more than most, but he can have no complaints about being dropped due to his shocking (away) form. So to not try his best & not turn up at another match is very unprofessional. Someone like Joe Thompson could have an excuse to act like that, riding above your average & getting dropped but not KK. Also of he knew he was on the way out & wanted another British team it would make sense to put in a stellar performance

And there is nothing scheduled to take part at the Showground on Monday 5th June according to their (pretty useless) what’s on listings. There is a cycling event this Saturday and Sunday but that is only usually on the outskirts of the Arena. Begs the question why are we having to take the air fence down today?

Is their planning application on the PCC website yet?

You know more than most that we have an excellent working relationship with the EoES and logic/common sense has never seemingly been at the forefront of decision making where Peterborough Speedway is concerned.

One assumes that they've booked the EoES for a week Mon-Mon/Tues-Tues (although where is the surprise if the speedway date was agreed?) for the Jeremy Vine nutjob crew: https://www.visitpeterborough.com/whats-on/tour-of-cambridgeshire-2022-p1675461

King's Lynn have made it quite clear, that as soon as Pickering is fit, he will be going back into the team, obviously at the expense of A.N. Other, so quite where the idea comes from that he's wound up, beggars belief.

Because on Instagram he has put a photo of his head in different race suits and asks which suit suits him best! lol.

PETERBOROUGH can confirm that next Monday’s (June 5) scheduled home meeting against Wolverhampton has been postponed.
We have been working closely with the stadium over availability issues and supporters who were present for the Bank Holiday meeting against Leicester will be aware that a major event is due to take place involving use of the infield and facilities.
We would like to thank our landlords for working with us to enable that meeting to take place; however, it is unfortunately not possible for us to stage next Monday’s meeting.
A new date for Wolves to visit will be confirmed, and the next home meeting is on Monday June 26 when the Crendon Panthers take on Belle Vue.

Little talk going round the pits last night that we have secured the eoes for another year ! Good news if true

The planning application is vague at best so I can’t see the diggers moving in there anytime soon so that is good news if true

The club shouldn't sit on it's a$$ and just admire itself though, they still need a new site asap.

How can an injured rider be wound up by a decision to replace him?

Pickering put a picture on his Instagram yesterday of him in different team's race suits, I assume that's what is being referred to. I took it as a joke. If as suggested he isn't going to be fit for a month then he can have no issues with bring temporarily replaced. Which I don't think he has anyway!

That will get some rumours going...On a different note, Buster and Tomalin were there last night and it's disappointing again that no one comes on the microphone to give us an update on team changes or the future of the club..there continues to be no connection with the fans whatsoever and another crap home loss..absolutely sick to death of it all tbh.

If you've nothing to say then say nothing. As you started, whatever they say gets the rumour mill in overdrive. We know what the situation is with a team: under the current ownership we have a budget team to make up the numbers, nothing exciting is going to happen.

As for the club's future: what more can be said? " In terms of the future, as things stand at present, very sadly this will be our last year. We have a contract with the Showground until the end of October, and at this stage it is highly unlikely that this will be renewed." & Johnson said:    "Everyone knows the situation at the Showground and we are not big enough to stop a £50 million development from going ahead, things are very sensitive with the Showground contract and who knows what happens after October this year."

Think that we're all sick of it, including some of the management and sponsors no doubt, but don't see much changing unless someone pulls a rabbit out of the hat at some point?

Always has been our best hope and likely scenario. Nothing much is going to happen quickly at the EoES regarding any development. I could see us still being there for a while until the local plan review is completed in a few years with the exclusion of LP30.

That's the conundrum isn't it? Great news if true but then the other side of that scenario snaps back and hits you in the face on its return.

Neil, can you have a word with your mate in your picture to come and rescue us?

Getting tired:blink:, but if i'm right....

Panthers team GSA from 1st June 38.09

If Tungate is 6.78, Tarasenko 5.00 and KK 6.86 = 18.64

NP 8.61, Hans 4.96, Worrall 6.25 =19.82 Or Basso, Cook in place of Richie, would still fit, with some to spare if my calculations are right.

Tungates last GSA is 6.61
