Some fans have been commenting on the Panthers facebook page about hearing a rumour that Monday is the last meeting.

Likely to just be a rumour though.

It can't be true surely. If it was the last meeting then what would be the point in holding this meeting. It would be like saying We are closing down but we will just have one more meeting for the hell of it. Also I guess the speedway authorities would know about it, Kings Lynn would definitely know about it (same owner) so why would they run a meeting when everyone would know that the results will be expunged

Ulrich has a farewell meeting in July which he is still promoting, it’s all a load of rubbish, just someone trying to be funny I think

Yes I agree. Some People seem to be going out of their way to finish this club, I can't understand it.

Reading this thread is awful.  But I spotted this and am amazed that this SM situation has arisen -

From a club content point of view it's poor but we also have an issue where some can't control their own Facebook account

The protected race night is killing it imo. Redcar used to ride on a Thursday, so maybe they would be okay moving up. But Oxford and Poole definitely want Weds last time I heard. Not sure of Glasgow would be happy to ride Mon or Thurs?

I wasn't planning on attending tomorrow. But if it's our last meeting, I will definitely be there.

I've had to cancel an important dinner in Canary Wharf with a client, but the Panthers always come first in my life.

They do happy meals in McDonald's Peterborough so no need to go to Canary Wharf

Absolutely. Leave it to the owner to do that sort of thing, he's doing fine

With the amount of guests and use of RR they may as well scrap the race nights and just go with what is best

Teams will then build sides with riders who would be available for their home meetings more often than not, away sides will likely see the use of guests and RR

Depends on how many fixtures as surely they could work around Sweden/Denmark fixtures, perhaps less meetings with more completed sides is better than cramming in loads of meetings with loads of unavailability
