Was it ever confirmed? We were just told that it was Tomalin's intention to join CJ and that that was subject to a successful future application. Did that ever go in? Was it accepted? Did something else crop up? Within a few days AEPG issued a statement re their future intentions and Worrall was signed basically knackering up what was seemingly the preferred 1-7. There's many a slip twixt cup and lip!

According to his own Bio on Instagram he’s a promoter. Seem to remember him being listed in the programme as CEO and co-promoter as well.

I'll check the prog if I've still got one, but he's not down here http://www.peterborough-speedway.com/clubofficials

Goodness me, this is embarrassing from the Peterborough management.

Every fan wants to hear their management team interact with fans but there rules, those rules are, no matter how angry fans are don't belittle & down play their importance under any circumstances.

As I've always said, a clubs closure is NEVER the fault of it's supporters. The blame is 100% owners.

It's doesn't even have Buster as owner & or promoter??

It's not known for it's accuracy. It has Danny King down as track record holder and the disabled parking instruction points to the ill-fated 2020 instructions/diagram.

Can't remember the last time that I saw the owner listed? Tomalin never has been on there but that club officials page has had an update or two in 2023, I know that.

Application must have been rejected.

Changed his social media bio's to co-promoter but I guess he was jumping the gun.

DO NOT question our Carl.... he's put thousands of pounds into the club.

Because no one else has ever brought season tickets or tickets for meetings, sponsored riders etc

Carl did not say that he’d put thousands of pounds into the club. He said that he’d put in thousands of hours work into the club over the years

Its becoming more  obvious now that the club has no future come the end of the season , if thats the way they all go about there business with paying customers , god help them when it comes to dealing with the important people who they would need to convince that the speedway team in Peterborough should be saved .

In fact its getting seriously to the point of if they can really survive the season,

For Ulrich's sake i hope its lasts until after his farewell as he deserves his meeting in the very least , but at least he has Glasgow as a back up hopefully.

Actually, if Peterborough lost every meeting this season and that meant that the club had a future, possibly on a new facility, that might not be a terrible outcome.

However, the club needs to be open and honest about the plan, how it might be achieved and how the fans can be a part of that.

Alienating either side won't help.

Just spent 10 minutes entertaining myself reading through the Peterborough Facebook page and seeing comments from Allitt and Tomalin making a prat of themselves.

They really have morphed into the new Banter speedway club. Hilarious but sad at the same time.

Some of the best comments are people talking about signing Holder as no.1 still when he’s currently sidelined with broken bones.
