Well given that Chapman is the owner and would have been well aware of the team make up rumours circulating then why didn't he just come out and say that he's aware of what's being touted but Holder will not be riding in either of his teams, end of problem? Playing the assumptions and you should have known card on a sponsor with other priorities who hasn't lived on speedway social media for the last decade is a bit rich.

Because he didn't have to. Tomalin was the only one that needed to know, as if he didn't already. MT hasn't put out a statement explaining what went wrong, and why he hasn't delivered anything, when he promised the world to the fans.. Or one addressing the rumours that he hasn't even paid his sponsor money. And before you say it, he don't have to either.

Didnt say for Buster thou did I, the truth is out there but may never really be known , anyway onwards and upwards soon be end of August and bye bye

No you didn't mention Busters name. But the Holdergate thing was obviously between MT and Buster. we probably will never know the full story. But I have been told by someone pretty close that " Your pretty much on the money". Believe me or not, it is up to you.

I hope something is going on behind the scenes to help your fight for a new location. I head yesterday that Wolves have a petition with 20, 000 signatures so far. Has anyone started one for you? I haven't seen anything, which is worrying.

I know your bored of reading my comments, and tbh i'm getting bored of keep typing it. I have different opinions on the TM thing than most Panthers fans on here. But i see some are now starting to smell the coffee .

If Andersen isn’t sacked now then he never will be, that bloke in my eyes has gone from an outstanding club legend too a woeful way past his best club captain who needs too pass the torch and call it a day. I thought he was crap last year but this is ridiculous, Iversen has done nothing, worrall has had one decent meeting and that’s about it. Basso is actively trying and the same for Ben cook, and jenkins is continuing to make steady progress.

This joke is going on too long and the performances on track are just abysmal. I’m not gunna sit here like a happy clapper and go down the route of thinking ourselves lucky, at the end of the day we are still paying for this rubbishe, it’s there job, you wouldn’t go around bodging jobs and still get paid top dollar so why are we paying that for this rubbish.

There literally is no positives anymore, anyone that fully believes there is is in dreamland or on some very good gear

You’re only paying for that rubbish if you attend. If you don’t go, you keep your money and don’t have to watch rubbish.

The power lies with you.

The reason I continue too go is because it’s my team I’ve supported since 2005, win or lose I will continue too go and I will continue too give my opinion, believe you me I’m well aware it’s a waste of money and the choice too go or not is mine but this is likely the last speedway I’ll see at Peterborough as I wouldn’t go anywhere else

So you wouldn’t buy a car off him then?

:DNot if its from his auction site. I know he runs that successfully , but it's a far cry from a speedway club imho.

Its terribly sad at Peterborough. I have been there with closing clubs got the T shirt several times over.  I won't bore everyone withe clubs that I have supported and seen close over the years, suffice to say there isnt ONE club in the Greater London area anymore (even inside the M25 ) Back in the day there was one every night.  (sunday needed a visit to 3rd division Eastbourne or Rye House training track .)

As each one closed I never easily transferred my support to another club, but after a while went along to the nearest one support the away team.

Never going to see any investment into Peterborough for what will be their final season. Why would you ?  Dont give me the line that the Council HAVE to provide a site for the Panthers.........even if they did who would stump up  north of 1/4 million to build a new track and a stadium ???? Dragons Den would all be  "OUT"

Hans and Niels are club legends and your comments towards them are distasteful.

Have you forgotten about the 2006 Elite League season? Hans won us the title.

Another classic from basso who never fails to retain the village idiot title.

I'm surprised Basso is so low? Has he really been that bad?

This situation looking from the outside reminds me a lot of the Diamonds situation... See how that ended

  • New owner comes in, promises the world, delivers nothing
  • Very badly put together teams with no heatleaders
  • Promises of changes every week but it never comes
  • Crowd levels dropping like a stone but no action being taken to prevent it
  • Teams so far below the limit you could almost fit another 3 riders in place
  • Zero communication of any sort from the club other than the 'turn up or lose it' type of attitude
  • Guest after guest after guest

It'll not be long until the plug is pulled imo. I really do feel for the Peterborough fans here... The only positive yous have is Basso.

Andersen and NKI were shocking last night, Ben Cook was alright but you need better than that... Yous needs to get that lad who was out practicing last night after the meeting (Cooper Rushden?) I genuinely think he'd have beaten Hans and Niels...

He's reserve FFS. He is not supposed to be doing a top 5 job. They are not even supposed to get as many as nine! And what reserves regularly get 10 points a meeting?

And add in guest replacements and it's 5.04 from number 1 position.

People seem to have been slightly triggered that I said you could replace Ben Cook with a better rider... I didn't at any point say that he has been bad, all I'm saying is if there is changes made and the team is still under the limit, why not upgrade him to a 5/6 point rider from the continent... Peterborough need a major overhaul, and if a few riders are to be sacrificed then that's the nature of sports... I'm sure Ben would be signed up elsewhere. If Peterborough aren't going to build with top end power they need a reserve that is going to bang in double figures at every track
