Currently, Ben Cook isn’t anywhere near Craig Cook that’s a simple fact. Yeah you kinda do, stats don't tell the whole story. So why does no one want Craig Cook in the Prem then, maybe he isn't worth the hassle? He is just a British KK imo.

Lisa, Ben Cook at this moment in time isn’t close to Craig Cook in terms of ability and point scoring is he?
chrismorton
All we want to hear for our club is a positive snippet of information to go on.. whether it be team news or future plans but there is nothing...just absolute radio silence and that press release they did where they threw it on the end of the Nicki P announcement was a PR disaster that speaks volumes for the dignity of the people who are at the helm imo. Peterborough speedway needs this ownership change to have any chance

LOL nobody has to watch them to know that Craig Cook is a better rider than Ben Cook. Your bias towards anything related to Poole is literally off the scale and the reason anything you post regarding them can’t be taken seriously. 1

Panthers have made over 50 international phone calls to replace Nicki. They are trying very hard to find a suitable person.

The Peterborough ownership or prospective ownership need to be clear about what their plans are Are they in contact with the Council and the Showground owners about enforcing the requirements of the Local Plan? What response have they had? Is there a potential stay of execution at the Showground? Will the developers be held to the Local Plan and have to provide an alternative site before planning permission is approved? All of that might well prevent a £1m investment being required. If MT is a savvy businessman he will know that - but he needs to keep fans informed, if only in outline. If no communication is forthcoming and results continue the way they are so far this season fewer people will attend, losses (both on the track and financially) will build and the club could become unviable. Council owned land leased back on a 99 year contract. The sport needs to move away from being tenants to private landlords and/or here today gone tomorrow promoters.

I mean Craig Cook isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, there is definitely baggage there and there’s always an element of risk involved in signing him. But speedway is very short term thinking anyway. Ben Cook has done ok so far, but if Peterborough removed him and replaced him with Craig Cook, Peterborough would immediately become a stronger outfit. No ifs buts or maybes, they simply would. Nobody even knows if Craig Cook wants to do a full season in the Premiership either. He may be happy enough riding for Edinburgh and doing the odd guest booking here and there in the top flight, who knows.

Every single rider in the top 20 of the Polish Ekstraliga and first division. Nobody wants to accept the Panthers offer. The weakened sterling is also causing problems, riders want to be paid in euros. Panthers unwilling to budge on this as their revenue is in pounds. I think that's the battle ground, if he is interested in buying a speedway club, which I'm not convinced that he is (didn't Frost say that it seemed like a good idea at the time, based on a bit of sponsorship and a visit? And that was in the good times of Skysports Elite League) along with whatever agreement the club's owner made with AEPG when we got a full 2023 when initially the doors were going to close mid season?
