TTT
Makes all the sense in the world after forgetting about Baldy's post regarding Tungate the other day. Holder not putting pen to paper until a takeover is complete. Tungate isn't being released by Ipswich until they know who they're getting in return, Not leaving themselves short so they're playing it safe with the waiting game. Worrall is virtually the middle man as it stands but guaranteed a Premiership place at the end of it. All of them are 50/50 coin flips as it stands and anyone of them could end up at Ipswich or Peterborough.
Flappy
Tungate isn't an Ipswich contracted rider though so what do they have to release
stevehone
not fair on the riders caught up in this, i know the season doesn't start until March but riders need to get things prepared and sponsors sorted
cowboy cookie returns?
Just out of interest does Chris holder need a visa to ride in this country? I know at one time he lived here, if he does I wonder how long that would take to process as new application? Perhaps it's Holder Ipswich is waiting on

I though Tungate had a bust-up with Louis & was sold. To who I can't remember. May have the totally wrong rider in mind though but I'm convinced it's Tungate

Daniel Smith
Scrap that. Found this that says Tungate is still an asset. So yes, Ipswich can withhold his signing for any other club https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/20662920.ipswich-witches-ring-changes-two-riders-two-riders/

wealdstone
Internal problems/ squabbles etc once again leave the paying public the victims. Time they came clean , but then pigs may fly. When and if this is sorted bosses will will blithely expect fans to turn up as usual. Only so much manure can they pour over you till the sheer weight prevents you getting up... . Bosses attitude is that they are doing the fans a personal favour. Recall during M Hortons reign getting into showground and match cancelled !! Horton seen exiting from track before fans told!! n Edited January 19, 2023 by wealdstone

TTT
At least we've finally got to the bottom of it now by putting two and two together after reading this weeks PT and the Speedway Star which basically gave it away.
TTT
Can see why Ipswich aren't realising Tungate to Panthers now because if Tomalin completes the takeover and wrapped up deals for both Holder & Worrall as well then Ipswich would be left with none of them. All of that would make Hans Andersen a lock for Peterborough in 2023 no matter who's in charge, Assuming NKI is also a lock too unless Nicki P has a verbal agreement that no ITK knows about. If Tomalin completes the takeover then we'd only be getting one of Tungate or Worrall as Ipswich would need to use the other one considering Holder would be a Panther. Thing is, even if Peterborough get Holder & Ipswich refuse Tungate to Peterborough, I can see Tungate saying "no thanks" to Ipswich. Which would mean they'd lose both Tungate & Worrall as Worrall will be at Peterborough. This could get really really really messy

I think the takeover was going to be completed in November but something went wrong hence the reason why the planned radio announcement was cancelled at the last minute. Ipswich probably chased shadows (Emil) thinking they could get one over on Poland before giving up the ghost. Then it's all led to this situation between the two clubs making verbal agreements with the same riders where neither club can make a move until they know what the other club is doing for certain. Riders caught up in it while the fans are left frustrated with a lack of news, Like you said really messy.

Obviously it's not that simple
