If the club insist of being loyal to Hans again then Ben Cook has to released for Troy Batchelor.

Yes it's harsh on Ben but you simply cannot go almost 2.5 under the limit and expect to compete at this level with anyone.

Would rather keep Ben cook, batch is also a spent force

100% out of the question for me - and I live half way between Saddlebow and the Eoes but it’s Panthers since 1970 or NONE for me as can’t stand the place.   Ipswich too far and awful track so that’s another definite no.   Other people may think differently as you suggest but thought I’d give my view.

I find it strange that some fans happily support other clubs just because it's where they live.

Moved from King's Lynn to Wolverhampton, absolutely no way I'd watch regular meetings here just for a Speedway fix.

I just don't get it

If Panthers didn't exist then I'd nip down to KL a few times but I wouldn't support them, I'd just go to watch a few meetings at the AFA as a neutral fan.

Reason I said that earlier is normally you see fans of previous clubs that don't exist anymore end up heading down to the nearest local track and some of them end up supporting that club.

Take Swindon fans heading down to Oxford as a recent example.

When Lynn closed for a year in 1996 I did a few meetings at P'boro, Ippo, Mildenhall, Arena and Cov but its just not the same when you don't watch your own team. If the next nearerest track was an absolute thronker like BV, Redcar, Glasgow or Scunny it might be different but if you are a long time supporter of a particular team you can't just switch.

I agree with you, the racing is so much better at Peterborough, its almost a different sport compared to somewhere like Ipswich.

And before Oxford came back, saw a couple regularly attend Poole in 2021.

Club will have some explaining to do if we end up with the inevitable.

The 1-7 hype train in full effect, Trying to get people to part with good money during a cost of living crisis, Fans kept in the dark all winter with a lack of info etc.

I could honestly see fans supporting King's Lynn or Ipswich instead starting from next season tbh considering Peterborough won't have a future after the 2023 season if the club doesn't have a new owner with new land.

The die hard Speedway fans will still want to see their regular fix of racing live each week and KL/Ipswich are the closest tracks to us for them to visit.

That depends on AEPG and whether their proposed planning application was submitted at the end of 2022 as they expected and went through unopposed? There was plenty of local opposition. If it all gets tricky and expensive for them then I don't think another season would be out of the question although it's clutching at straws.
