So many factors for a new owner.

Would have to pay Buster some £'s

Would have to pay Showground owners some £'s

All before turning a wheel.

Then having to cover signing on fees for the likes of Iversen, Holder & supposedly Tungate also asking a decent fee, waiting for season ticket sales isn't that 'out there' to consider when building a team.

He's a winner. His words

As of now Worrall is at Ipswich and Andersen for some reason at Peterborough

The reason - you have to wait to see who the big boys let you have ;):P

You are wrong! ;)While I agree 'die hard fans' (no, not the film) will buy ST no matter the team. Some fans who still go every week will want a good team to part with their money.

With the cost of living crisis even some die hards will wait for team announcements before deciding.

I would be interested to know how many have been sold at this point last few years to now,, don't think there would be much in it. I don't buy a season ticket anymore because I know I won't watch all the meetings.  I used to,, but now I find I've had enough half a season in. And I've already had enough of this season,, and it ain't even started yet

 there's not 1 promoter wanting to be a loser

He hasn't played this game before, life can come at you fast, especially in Speedway

To a point, however you don't make those statements and then put out a team 2 points under the limit and includes Andersen and Worrall

but because of the points limit some things are out of your control, it's not all about money

Panthers got to announce something in the morning for me.

Spending two days straight promoting season tickets when we don't even have half a team announced gives out bad vibes imo.

If the team is a title challenging team then surely you'd want to announce them in quick fire fashion to shift as many season tickets as possible so the fans know what they're buying. Delay after delay on team announcements just leaves a portion of the fan base to hold back on purchasing a season ticket.

Only fans who would be jumping at the chance to buy a season ticket now with only 3 riders announced are the ones who'd be happy to have a 1-7 involving Ostergaard, Simon Lambert, Hans Andersen and Scott Nicholls.

Which would suggest sales haven't been as expected. May be the team they announce is on the basis of season ticket sales as this is what sets the figures to pay signing on fees.

They may have 3 teams in the background all associated with season ticket sales??

Rubbish, season ticket numbers are 100 to 200, wouldn't change the budget for the team.

Oh yes, of course, no club needs £52,000 to help with cost, I'm sorry for the inconvenient posting

There's a reason it's being delayed for sure and It doesn't have to be a negative one

Even if the promotion are still in talks with a rider, surely they must have one or two deals completed by now, just not announced? Because if not they're in trouble... Clearly struggling. If not announce someone? Keep the fans happy, keep them on side, especially if you want them to fork out their money for season tickets... All seems a bit odd to me

I genuinely hope I'm wrong and Peterborough are currently working on 4 visas for Bartosz Zmarzlik, Maciej Janowski, Francis Gusts and Martin Vaculik all behind closed doors :D I'm planning on visiting this year as it's a track I've never been to

Some promoters don't start announcing til the whole team is signed as if plans don't work out, you may need to change other riders.

Or maybe their signings are connected to Ipswich so have to wait for them?

Leaving it this late ...surely your options  are limited....most riders have signed contracts by now ...both here and abroad...Will be interesting to see who they end up with...
