Col
Wouldn't consider Basso or MPT a #1 Nicholls retirement?

I would think this is the perfect time for Scott to bow out to pursue his media career ,he has nothing to prove and has been a fine servant to the sport . He would still do a good job at Championship level, wouldn't be surprised if he returns to Oxford or even Plymouth , Still recall him as a 16 year old making his debut for the Panthers on loan from the then feeder club Ipswich ,for some reason Powderhall Edinburgh comes to mind with his debut but im not sure if it was his first actual appearance for Peterborough or his first away appearance . Flappy
He can retire as the leader of the Dad's Army last year. We all let hearts rule our heads asking them back for one more year, Bjarne had the right idea.

Personally I think Scott still has something to offer and is on a low average so worth a risk in my view.

At a small track and starting at reserve for sure
LagutaRacingFan
I would retain Hans and Nichollsl. Both on bargain averages.

Bargain for a reason. Unless of course you could fit both at reserve. Problem then before you know it you have 4 of this seasons 7 back and they were miles off the pace. Some of the reasons for 2022 success was the quality of riders Panthers were able to track at reserve and the false average Ostergaard was on when he got injured meaning guests and the use of R/R were of greater significance
Flappy
If you were to go down that route and have both at reserve with brit reductions you could go. MPT Basso Pickering Douglas King Andersen Nicholls

It was unfortunate (fortunate?) when he got injured but the fact is he was averaging 7 points a meeting and riding well at the time of his injury.

Because it was a fluke and well ahead if anything he had achieved in the past. Returned to normality in 2022. But what the hell you won the title and I am sure you enjoyed that however it was achieved.
