Is this for definite as I can book a hotel on the mentioned date but it’s non refundable!

It’s booked on a refundable booking right in the square so I’m on a no lose situation and at £36 a night when it’s usually £159 I’m sitting tight

Is the * TBC ?

Edit just answered my own question - yes is the answer :)

From the FIM “Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach an agreement to bring the Speedway GP series back to Australia for 2023. But I can assure everyone that work continues behind the scenes to take the world’s best riders back to one of speedway’s biggest nations.
“Bringing the Speedway GP series to Australia remains a key objective and, when it happens, we are determined to deliver an unforgettable event that is well worth the wait for our passionate fans Down Under and one that can be sustained for many years to come.”

Why is Australia the only non-European country considered?  Why not try the USA? Even New Zealand should be able to hold a Grand Prix round. It may give the sport there a boost, were Briggs and Mauger the last well known New Zealanders in our sport?   I seem to remember that even Argentina was also spoken about at one time. I think we should have at least one round away from Europe every year, it would make a change.

So the same riders and venues (bar one each) as last year.

I wouldn't mind if they did a third year without any changes... What annoys me is the fact that they made such a fuss about how good they are and how things would change only to find out they had bugger all idea what they were taking on to run.

Don't know why Croatia,Latvia, and the Czech Republic should get a round they,re not exactly big speedway nations.

Because they are willing and able to host a round. Thats the one answer there is.
