Not by much granted but he wasn’t a poor signing in that regard. I get the frustration with him though. I don’t have a problem with Batch personally. He hasn’t pulled up any trees but he’s had his moments this season and improved his average albeit not by much. Maybe some had unrealistic expectations
JamesB
Let’s hope Batchelor was saving himself for the play offs. Rowe did OK, but he could be so much better if he didn’t give the other three a yards head start every time.

Maybe some had unrealistic expectations King was always going to drop his average after his best ever season,,, and Doyle arriving. He has been way below his best,,,which means one thing,,,, guaranteed a place next season

Haha the frustration with Troy is that he’s not a bad rider, clearly talented and at times this season we’ve seen just how good he can be, but others like this evening he’s looked like he can’t even turn the bike

He just doesn’t look particularly quick and has to go in to defensive mode when he’s made the gate to stay in front. And to his credit he’s pretty clever in the way he does that at times. chrismorton
Ipswich must crap if they only beat 3 Panthers and 3 reserves only by 2 pts over 2 matches...just saying.

If a rider is declared in a team at the start of a season and he rides in official meetings as Heeps did , the riders average should be classed as being used for that year even if the matches he rode in didnt count towards his average , Edited September 8, 2022 by scoobydoo

Roger Jacobs
Was Basso struggling with his shoulder injury? Apart from beating Heeps & Tungate in 14, he scored his points by finishing ahead of Batchelor and Summers.

You can argue for inclusion ,or against, but it has to be accepted that neither will give ideal outcomes 100% of the time.
