But Heeps' average is not established in 2022. It was established in 2021 therefore as he has an established 2022 CL average that takes precedence.

Which rather begs the question why if he hasn’t ridden any league matches has his Premiership GSA changed during later 2022 issues.

What average do you think he would start on if some team in the PL was silly enough to sign him next season.I think it would be the higher one.

Only a guess, but his CL average may be deemed the most recent as he doesn't have a PL team place.

The number of matches used to calculate the MA has reduced month by month over the season.

The most recent achieved MA is the one used which would be the CL average in this case.

I admit to being an out and out nerd when it comes to speedway stats. But this whole subject of averages is like a black art.

This match needs to be cancelled.

Our Queen has died.

This is an extremely awkward situation. It is to shorter notice to cancel I imagine but it is highly unlikely many involved will have any appetite for this match now.

Under 10.2.1

The most recently established MA will be used. If a rider has an established MA in both the Premiership and Championship Leagues, established in the same season, that leagues MA will apply to that league.

Premiership Issue 12 dated 26th August 2022

and effective 1st September shows Heeps on 5.07

The declarations are a joke. When a rider is dropped their calculations appear below the team declaration each month but are never updated from the figure at the time they were dropped!

I agree that it seems strange that Cam appears no longer to be considered as having an active Premiership average but its the only reason that fits this situation being allowed

Because the number of matches that count towards the GSA has dropped by two each month, and currently only counts the last 14 Premiership matches for each rider.  Keep up at the back there ;)

Another cheap one for the Panthers and another meaningless fixture in this joke of a speedway league..

Well in this weeks speedway star Rob Lyon says he doesn't have time to be finding guests during the day and it's Dale Allitt who has been securing riders.

In truth your season has been over for weeks and instead of getting people like Lambert why not try someone like Kye Thomson or KL have got Jonas Knudsen riding tonight look to the future instead of going with the same old rubbish week after week.

How do you know they haven't been asking other riders?  The other night Plymouth were really struggling to find anyone, and other clubs have said it's been tough. On the other hand, Simon Lambert has been a loyal servant, and pops up with the occasional very good score.

Just my opinion mate and I'm merely speculating that's all, nothing against Lambert he gives his all every time but he's not going to get any better. Thomson has guested a few times in the championship and I'm sure he'd bite your hand off to get a go in the premiership.
