Poole won’t be getting my £30 odd quid tonight and I presume many others are in the same position. Silly situation really and a stain on the league as a whole. The sport needs independent governance, quickly, before it dies out.

How will independent governance help?  How on earth would you enforce independent governance on entrenched dinosaurs who have overseen the decline?

The rain band is about 25-30 mins wide. Depends how heavy it is and whether it will directly hit. decided to wait and see. Danish league on tv followed by Champions League if not on. Could get away with it and get it on.

It's not fair on Ben Trigger at all, is it?  He's being fed to the lions and doesn't stand a chance.

Hopefully Ben will follow in the example of Henry Atkins, move away and find life better away from Plymouth. Henry is flourishing again at Oxford, under the guidance of a supportive club and manager.

Flourishing, he's in the nl!

Poole can only race (beat) what's put out in front of them.

WTF has it got to do with DF if Plymouth can't put together a decent team?  They should've replaced Kennett at the start of the season but have used a loophole to use R/R all year and now that's come back and bitten them on the 'arris!  They would've (injuries permitting) had a decent No. 1 riding tonight if they'd replaced EK.  They'd also have Ben Barker if he hadn't got himself high!  Only got themselves to blame I'm afraid...

Maybe they couldn't afford to replace Ed.. And Poole know all about loopholes!! As for Ben, Plymouth cat take any blame for Ben. Maybe you should be careful what you write.....Not all clubs have the crowds/money that Poole has... Buts it's ok, Poole will be alright.

Bloody glad your not in the top league any more.

Wait till Atkins throws his toys out of his pram or more likely his dad throws his toys out of his pram because daddy thinks Henry is going to be the next Bewley and in reality he’s not that good otherwise someone else would have wanted him at reserve in there team.

What’s that got to do with this meeting? Atkins rides for neither club.

Doesn’t matter what side Plymouth field, when your home track has the properties of a large sponge, and the owners not prepared to do a darn thing about it, your on a hiding to nothing anyway.

Do you think the owner is King Canute?

Not easy to stop water tables.

Left home and All roads were dry. Arrived at parking near stadium to a lightning display and within a couple of minutes it was torrential. Ten mins later the drains in the road couldn’t cope. Drove home with flooded roads. Still raining now and track would be underwater. No chance direct storm hit.

So we go again next Tuesday with Plymouth first leg. Let’s hope this low pressure moves away and we get a little settled weather.
