So OK, common sense prevails & I will apologise to the Peterborough promotion for doing the right thing, but let’s see if Redcar do likewise tomorrow seeing they have an important potential play off position to fight for. Also for Jordan he needs to consider that he has the British U21 Championship Final on Wednesday & has an excellent chance of making the rostrum.

Get your facts right, it was Redcar who made him go to the hospital on Saturday in Redcar !

oh for the days of tyres doing 6 meetings when the hacksaw was an important piece of equipment lol

Given the general making it up as you go along approach of modern speedway surely the sensible thing in these very unusual circumstances was for the referee and both teams to have agreed that each team could have and use extra new tyres do the public weren't short changed and a 'proper result' achieved

I don't know how much longer British Speedway can survive.

Once the cost of living energy bills hit I think that'll put an end to Speedway as most fans who attend Speedway only have a pension to live off.

Situations like today will just turn them away for good.

Last week we had a club setting fire to straw in the hope they could dry the track, minutes later the fire brigade arrive, result meeting off. Now this.

I like Peterborough as a club and have always enjoyed my trips to the EoES but you do wonder just how long the club can survive for.

Away win for tigers but don’t understand the tyre problem here at Peterborough I thought Sheffield was the only track to have problems on a race night. Shame the Ipswich and Belle Vue fans arnt here to sort it out with all there expertise and know how. If this tyre problem has been causing problems for 2 years as Carl Johnson suggests then the riders need to be refusing to ride until it’s sorted. Rider safety obviously.

As Sheffield are involved it I'd obviously their fault ;):P

what if there weren't any more new tyres there?

i think meetings being called off early because they worry about the crowd level could be a thing of the past, there won't be any crowd to worry about

Well you usually got all the answers mate so  your input would have been valuable. It’s incredible what you know when your not even at the meeting. Thanks for the bite tho

I already made a sensible suggestion - see above

Doesn't take Einstein to solve this one
