Wonder if they have time to switch the Wolves vs Sheffield or Sheffield Wolves. Not sure who is at home! Considering it is a Mon I am assuming it is Wolves vs Sheffield?

Yeah, I'd put Wolves vs Sheffield on

Postponed way too early once again!! 40-50% very light showers between 3 and 7.... So could even get none at all. I don't think they want to ride

While I don't disagree that it's an early call off the Met Office app suggests general rain rather than just light showers.

I think you are probably right though, they are petrified of a small crowd which tv and rain would almost guarantee. Although it's another school holiday date wasted.

Can Eurosport show us a video of the tractors going round instead?

Maybe KL could still do a live stream?

Fifteen quid sounds reasonable....

And just like last night's tractor laps coverage, no commentary needed..... ;)

Nothing to do with tv cameras being there and small crowd turning up ? chances are tv cameras won’t return again this season to KL so job done bigger crowd when it’s rearranged financially it’s common sense .

I'm not fussed they've called it off but because of the weather?  Just be honest.  Peterborough rearranged one under a flimsy excuse,  why can't they just say we couldn't field a side or it jeopardises our business,  we'd understand.

Good call imo, weather is looking dodgy and I suppose calling off in plenty of time at least gives the fans at home another match to watch tonight. If they had called off today I'm sure Eurosport wouldn't have put the Wolves v Sheffield fixture on tonight.Having said that the weather for Monmore isn't appealing neither for today.

The weather for Wolverhampton this afternoon looks pretty dire according to the rain radar, so I'm surprised Eurosport have taken the risk of televising it. Lets hope the risk pays off and the meeting goes ahead?

They haven't changed it yet that's all, King's Lynn vs Belle Vue is off because they fear a lesser crowd... Wolves vs Sheffield is on TV

At least someone sees the real reason  as to why it’s been called off - can’t fault the club either financially it’s a no brainer .

I suspect they could have whethered either the fact it's on telly OR a dodgy forecast, but both together would have meant one man and his dog I'd imagine.

Joke call off. There wasn’t enough rain about to get it called off and todays dry nice warm day prove that.

we all have to race on TV in front of poor crowds.

Speedway shoots itself in the foot. It really does

Who knows it might well rain later but 30mins drive from track it’s sunny and warm summer’s afternoon- you say we all have to race in front of the cameras I bet ya Lynn won’t at home this season - I agree a joke call off but from a business point of view it’s the right call for Lynn promotion- maybe points should be awarded when this happens to visitors?

It’s going to be dry till about 10pm. Maybe later.

Yesterdays forecast wasn’t even enough to call it off really. Not with how well buster is at sorting tracks out.

business sense might be wise yes. I agree.

if Jorgensen wasn’t injured they would have ridden is my guess

Watch what your saying.... If Bluster chucks his toys out of the pram then the Premiership will be down to four teams. :D
