Funny how people are saying that they couldn't understand Havvy but they all understood when he swore.B)

I thought Havvy brightened the co comms up as the main commentator got more stats wrong than right.

So in his commentary he managed to say B*ll*cked, @rse, 5h1t, F'd off a number of times and a debateable F**kin... what a pro

To be fair you can’t really class the BSN as professional it does a job for those wanting to watch Speedway.

But professional it certainly isn’t.

I think it's far more professional than other so called professional broadcasters. And I also think that the people that run it like to think they are running a professional outfit, you can tell that by the investment in new kit, the great comms with customers etc.

I don't think we'll be seeing Havvy on there again in a while

I'm no prude and am not adverse to a bit of effing and jeffing myself... in the right environment though. Would it be acceptable for example for the centre green presenter to swear during his presentation? I think not

If i wanted an incoherent sweary old man in my living room I'd take in the local tramp.

It's no coincidence that Sky binned bin off and BT & Eurosport have never touched him with a barge pole and he seems quite bitter about that.

For me he very nearly spoiled what was otherwise an excellent night off Speedway and didn't add anything to the broadcast rambling on with his incoherent anecdotes during races.

I can see what you mean to a certain extent and as I say it serves a purpose.

But let's be honest it is far from professional, but I guess it is a work in progress and I know what I am getting so my expectations are not overly high.

Have you ever watched Premier Sport?

Unfortunately and that is also poor but you know what you are getting as you do with BSN so you can at least reduce your expectation level accordingly.

Sam Ermolenko needs to go, not sure where mind yers but sumwhere where there are no microphones. Maybe a field where he can roam freely with just a few sheep to keep him company, yep & maybe a visit from Abi Stephens once in a while coz she likes to keep commenting on his 'sharp haircut' .....makes yer wonder......

:D

For what is obviously a low budget production I actually think they do incredibly well. I do think the whole thing comes across professionally but I suppose it depends on what your definition of professional is. I'm not sure what some peoples expectation of a streaming service is but its clearly not going to reach the same standards as Sky, BT or Eurosport on a fraction of the budget the big boys work to. As somebody who has lost my home track it is now the only regular speedway I get to watch and I've thoroughly enjoyed BSNs coverage so far.

Have tbh I quite enjoyed listening to havvy in the Comms. Refreshing hearing someone speak honestly and say what they think. And unlike some snowflakes out there not going to hang him out to dry for a few wee swearies

Quite amusing in an Oliver Reed style but wouldn't want him too often
