Typical BSP thinking.

"OK lads.    Shall we get out there and promote the sport to the millions who don't know it exists?"

"That sounds like a lot of work boss"

"Well, what about if we take the best rule change we've made in recent history and just reverse it for a laugh?"

"hear, hear"

Well at 7.15 I voted and when you do it shows you the results at the time. After 628 votes it was 75.5% for changing to aggregate bonus point.

It was changed because when a club only got 2 points, many thought it felt like a defeat and wasn’t good for morale.

I can remember when and why it was changed and it was a load of guff IMO, removed the jeopardy of the away side 'stealing' a point from the home team if they got within 6 points of them.

Done deal already by the look of it.

*sighs*

For me the return of the bonus point is a good idea.

But for they should do away with the nice try point, the one that awards a point if the away team loses by 6 points or less.

Whoever heard of a sport where you are rewarded for losing.

For me it has to be;

3 points for a win

2 points for a away draw

1  point for home  draw.

0 points for a loss

When is a draw not a draw? When it's in Speedway

Oh dear. Now we are letting the fans vote for the rules are we? And on Twitter of all places?

Remember the "vote for who is in heat 15" charade?

Just  as well they are not voting for a return to only 13 heats and being allowed to touch the tapes or we'd be getting that back too.

So now we know that 75.5% of fans are as thick as the Championship Promoters.

So are you saying that only intelligent people like yourself should be allowed to vote? Maybe the thick peasants should hide in the corner and be seen but not heard? It's an interesting view you have on democracy

Good news if it does, if Eastie come back were always capable of losing by 20 away and winning by a similar amount at home like a lot of teams, always nice to have the second ' leg' at home, saw many an exiting outcome win or lose the bonus point back in the day.

Doubt this would affect Eagles as will only apply to CL.

Aggregate points seriously favour the technical tracks.

Lets keep it simple

2 points for a win and 1 for a draw

And let’s scrap tactical’s as well

Just keep Golden heats for aggregate ties

The proposed change is only for Championship fixtures!!

Premiership can keep their Golden Heats which would usually (not always) favour the home side!!

Where the Championship leads, other leagues often follow..................!!

That only leaves the fish & chip shop run for the team manager then!
